It's exactly what it says and if you've bought this type of product before you'll notice that this one IS actually "spicy," (that's if you buy the spice option), mildly, but different to a base product.First order was through Prime delivery and the delivery and product were great, so ordered a second time.Unfortunately while it was free shipping it was not via Prime and so contacted seller about it for a replacement.The seller went above and beyond to make the situation right (and I'm not easily impressed by the way) and sent replacements as soon as we contacted them. No quibbling or anything of that sort. That's how people earn trust and respect from customers.We will certainly be ordering regularly going forward (though Prime to play safe).Did I say it tastes great?All in all you can't go wrong with the product or the seller.Mr. B 🙏🏼

Been buying these kits and sauces from chef Lilian ever since I discovered her here on Amazon! They are absolutely wonderful - especially that “mama’s everything sauce”, it’s pure gold! flavour, fragrance, everything! I’ve used it on literally everything from beans to stew to jollof to pasta! It never disappoints! Her egusi kit is so good too! Just stop reading and place an order!

This was my first time of ordering a stew mix for making my jollof rice. Usually I make it from scratch. After ordering, I did not see my delivery so contacted the seller. Lilian was great in responding to me and issue with non delivery. She resent my order and on this particular delivery discovered what might have happened to the first delivery. The box was left on the road side under my mail box which is a bit of distance from the main house. Most likely someone made off with my first packet.Anyways, I have used the Jollof mix twice now and am very happy at the results. My jollof rice came out really good.

I was under the impression that due to the price and description of the product, the package contained two jars. I only received one jar, but that jar was delicious! I used it to make smoked turkey stew. I will purchase again but please give two jars as advertised!

Great Product but it wasn’t spicy as I wanted. The sauce goes well with white rice, I added habanero pepper to make it spicy. Shipping was fast, I received it the next day after purchase. There was issue with order I received, they advertised three jars while I received only 1 jar, fortunately Amazon was able to refund me.

My husband loves when I cook with this sauce !! It’s a good base sauce. I love her beans package also. Authentic flavor for sure. Love supporting small businesses

Found a jar of sauce I had ordered had a lid that was never tightened and leaked all over the packaging.For the amount of money i had to pay for this I would expect something like this not to be overlooked..just threw it away since I don't have time to return it.

I love this product work goat and spinach soup! And if you want a little spice just add some of Chef Lillians All Purpose seasoning and you can't go wrong!!!
