After getting stuck into the never ending loop of hot food jars, I decided to buy this one. I bought one for me and my friend as a birthday present. Although it isn't that cold as usual Midwestern Novembers and almost Decembers are, I keep soup in here. I bring Chicken Nuggets to school or work and I boil water in the kettle (I'm from a very Irish family and we keep the kettle on the stove at all times, because that's part of how we freak out) and I put the hot water in it and close the jar. During this time, I brush my teeth or make the rest of my food. It keeps my food hot for 6 hours or something around there

This product is not durable and the outer coating started to peel off within a couple months. After the first month the amount of time that the food stayed warm dropped dramatically and now does not keep the food warm at all. It is very expensive, it looks durable, but it's cheapness and shoddiness shows within a couple months.

Daughter was using this thermos for 5 months for lunches, soups or some lunch with sauce stayed hot for 7-8 hours, i really liked how easy is to open and eat from it. The only think I would not recommend this is because inability to clean the closing lid. It has a spring inside and polystyrene filling, the soups and other stuff get inside. I disassembly it, but even put it together it started to leak so will throw it away. I am sorry i really liked it.

The finish started falling off the container on day 2 and continues to peel off. After a few times in the dishwasher the top is now difficult to close.

This thing is amazing. It really keeps your food hotter than warm, but not hot like it just came out of the microwave. It's the perfect temperature to start eating your food during lunch time. Make sure to boil water first, then add it to the thermos. Leave it there for 10 minutes, sealed. Empty after 10 minutes and then add your hot food from the microwave.

Works like a charm to keep my fiance's lunch warm for hours, and a generous size. Can fit enough stew for a whole meal. At first, he did not believe me that this thermos would work but it did and he was amazed.

Seemed to keep things hot in the first few weeks and now does not keep anything hot for 3-4 hours, even scalding hot soup. I even pre warm it with boiling water. Dissapointed!
