This seems to be a good mattress cover and has very deep pockets to go well around the matterss. It is not, however, good for offering more softness to a firm mattress, I noticed very little to no extra comfort in terms of relieving pressure points on my hips as I am a side sleeper. I thought that this would be a good way to add a mattress topper underneath and it may make it less hot with this over it. In the past I have tried gell infused memory foam to add extra softness, it was good but much too hot and felt like I was in quick sand, I am still seaching for the solution to a too firm bed. The guy at the bed store had talked me into the firmer mattress, against my first choice which was the medium level firmness. He explained that the bed would soften up over time and turn into the medium firmness, not true, I have had it for 1-1.5 years and I still wish I went with the medium.

I was taking a chance by ordering this mattress pad. Very highly delighted! It's verrry comfortable. Very poof, with lots of room for its sides to expand around foam pads, mattress toppers, etc. I bought this mattress pad along with a 2inch memory foam mattress top, & this mattress pad covers my main bed mattress plus the foam topper very comfortably. In fact, if I wanted to, I could stick a compete other mattress in there & as mattress pad would expand completely & comfortably around that, as well. That's how much room the sides of this mattress pad allows for. It's great. But I'm going to get another 2 inches of memory foam, myself. I'm very pleased with this mattress pad. Excellent buy. Excellent quality.

I was hoping that this mattress pad would be a bit more plush and comfy, but it does the trick! I was afraid to get one that was too thick and would be therefore too soft, but I guess if you're going for optimal comfort you just have to get something thicker. We have a latex, organic cotton mattress. We originally had this pad underneath a thinner, waterproof mattress pad we had but it didn't make much of a difference. We had to ditch the waterproof pad and just use this comfy pad by itself - it helped! Even though it's not mind-blowingly more comfortable, we're satisfied with it!

I'd been thinking vaguely of getting a new pad, since the mattress was the only thing that was getting padded by the old one — it wasn't doing bupkis for me. Ran across this pad amongst the instant deals, and decided to go for it, and am very glad I did.Now =THIS= is more like it — soft, full, fits the mattress beautifully and doesn't wander, thanks to four awesomely deep pockets. Sliding into bed now feels somewhat like putting on a loose glove.Adhering to cleaning instructions, the pad was washed soon as it arrived, and came through the process perfectly. Needed some extra time tumbling, but this seems natural for a pad that's this puffy.Grinningly satisfied, I can definitely recommend this.

I've been looking for a Mattress pad for quite a while. My mattress is very firm so we have a 3 inch memory foam topper. That one came with a cover but it was very uncomfortable because it had zippers all around and sometimes you could feel them pocking in your back. What I love about this pad is how deep it is. As you can see in the pictures It fits all the way to the box spring if you want to. It is cotton and feels cushy. It's fluffly but don't expect much volume added to your mattress. It was ideal for us. This pad keeps our topper in place and it's an extra layer of softness. If you have a deep mattress I'm sure this pad will fit.

This fluffed up pretty nicely when I first pulled it out of the packaging. I have an old, very basic spring mattress with a (getting old) memory foam topper and now this pad cover over that. The memory was loosing it's memory, so instead of buying a new one (because I will be buying a new mattress sometime this year, but can't afford to right this moment) I bought this cover, which did not break the bank at all. It is silky and fluffy and I love it. I have a feeling I'll end up keeping it on even with a new mattress down the line.

I already had a comfortable mattress, but this mattress’s pad put it over the top! My boyfriend prefers a softer bed and I like my firm mattress — this pad provides the perfect combo of both. I had a friend stay over and she actually asked me in the morning what type of topper I had and commented how comfortable it was! My only complaint is how difficult this makes it to wake up and get out of bed in the morning!

The cover seems very well made...one said there was no label, but mine had one...the washing instructions are on the Amazon site under description of the item if yours doesn't have one(cold wash, tumble dry low)...the top is 100% cotton and although the description said combed cotton filling, my label said 100% polyester filling...since the top part is cotton, that's the main thing I guess...so fluffy and soft...would recommend and great value for the money.
