Our son had really bad build up on his lower teeth. We started the new tooth brush after his dental cleaning. It's 4 weeks out and his teeth are looking great so far!

Well first off I had to return the first one due to it missing pieces. Despite appearing to be unused, it was missing the charger and one of the mouth bite brushes. Fast forward to getting a replacement from amazon, it is a good product for the value you pay for. It is no autobrush that costs 4-5x more. I use the mouth bite brush for my 3 year old son to get his teeth brushed as he is not a fan of regular tooth brushes. Now the product does an ok job cleaning, but it does not beat the regular tooth brush, let along a head spinning brush. I would recommend if you are going to solely use this item, brush more then 2x a day to keep the teeth clean, cause once in the morning and before bed, mainly the before bed, doesn't get the teeth as clean as I could with the regular brush. Again it is a good tool to use to get your child use to brushing, I am hoping my son will eventually stop fighting with the regular tooth brush and we can just do that.

I decided to buy a U-shaped tooth brush for my 2.5 yo son because my son likes to brush his teeth but is not very good at using a traditional toothbrush. I really liked this product because it came with a traditional toothbrush head and the U-shaped head. However, I really decided to buy this particular product because my son said he wanted the astronaut one.My son loves this toothbrush! He brushes his teeth for multiple rounds (it shuts off after a minute). I will even change the head, so I feel confident that he is getting the best clean. He also likes that he can push the button multiple times to change the way the toothbrush vibrates.The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is because if my son moves the toothbrush with the U shaped attachment side to side, as recommended, the brush occasionally comes off from the handle and is left in my son’s mouth. The brush head is pretty big, so I am not afraid my son will swallow it. However, since I have to touch the part that goes in his mouth I have to rinse and start all over again. Also, there wasn’t a very detailed instructions on how to plug the toothbrush in, and for the first time plugging it in, I found myself using a fair amount of force in to perforate the rubber coating of the toothbrush. Not sure if that what how you are supposed to plug it in, but if it is, especially because of the placement, it felt kind of wrong.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT

I bought this hoping my toddler would try it as its a struggle to get him to brush his teeth. I could not figure out how many clicks on the button to change each setting and it startled him when it started to vibrate so he would not use it. Needless to say I have a $30+ toothbrush sitting in the box hoping one day he'll use it. I did try it on my own teeth to figure out the sensation that startled my toddler and i must say the vibration does not go back and forth on the mouth guard looking piece like you would think...makes me wonder how clean it gets the teeth. I'm going to try to get him to use it again maybe when he is 4...by then i hope it wont scare him (He's 2-1/2 now)
