Looking for perfect card game paper, looks good, but cards stick together too much to rifle through
I printed on an Espon ET-2550.I've been working on making my own trading card game, and I've been looking for the perfect paper for printing my cards for a long time with varying levels of success that all usually require additional steps that are time consuming, labor intensive, and/or expensive. I saw there were a lot more options for holographic paper available on Amazon now than there were the last time I looked, so I decided to try a few. I had first tried the Bleidruck brand non-printable laminating sheets before I tried this printable kind. I found that the laminating sheets do work perfectly for making the cards slick and easy to rifle through like they need to be, but having the holographic effects on top of the print greys out the print and doesn't look as good as printing on top of the holographic effects. I was hoping that this same brand of paper in the printable variation would carry over the same low friction properties I need, but sadly it does not. The cards stick together too much, and you can't really thumb through them just like so many other papers I have tried. With that being said, I have found a couple of limited options for holographic paper where the cards don't stick together in the Silhouette brand, so I know it is possible. All that aside, the prints on this paper look great. The effect of the glittery one in my picture is maybe a little too strong for what I'm looking for, but I like how the darkest black areas of the print cover the glitter effect, which could really look great for some things.I tried putting a few drops of water on the corner of a card with my finger to test its waterproofing, and there was no lasting signs of damage. The water did make it look lighter and clearer for a minute, with cloudy edges, then cloudy over the entire wet area for a few minutes, and then it returned to normal. I should also say that the printer I used has dye based ink, and not pigment based ink like the product description says is needed for it to be waterproof, but it still seems water resistance enough to where it won't be damaged if you accidentally get a drop of water on it. The ink also was dry immediately after printing, so there was no issues with worrying about it smudging or anything like I was worried there might be since I'm not using pigment ink like it suggested for the waterproofing.I had tried another brand of printable holographic paper that looks very similar to this and have noticed some of the ink basically flaking off around the edges, but so far I have not seen that happen with the cards I printed on this paper. While it may not be the perfect single solution for my card game that I was looking for, it is a good looking option to consider if I laminate over it or something. I'm sure it will also be great for printing many other things.

Great Paper
There's lots of reviews from people having problems with inkjet printing. I used an Epson ET2803 (Which is probably the best printer you'll find for anywhere near the $200 price) using the same Epson inks it comes with and I have no problems at all with smudging even after washing with a wet sponge. This paper is fun and you can produce realistic metal labels with it and all kinds of cool artwork. Great paper and a great price. The instructions say to use only dye ink, but it works fine with the Epson Eco-Tank ink. It's also easy to apply even a full 8.5 x 11 sheet on glass and smooth out the bubbles no problem. I allowed 30 min for the ink to dry, but I don't know if that's even necessary.

Work good except
Only thing is the print that doesn't have access design smears with my printer ink. All the other papers don't. Only the one without a design

Makes shiny holographic stickers
I use them for my phone and accessories. The plain one is a standard glossy white which is good if you did not want any pattern on holographic finish and did not want to buy another pack.

Beautiful but…
These do not register for print and cut. I made the cutest troll sticker but because of the shiny it messed with the registration marks no matter what I did. I ended up hand cutting the troll out

Read This First if you own a Silhouette Cutting Machine!
First off, these papers are so so cute! The paper is similar to the weight of Silhouette's white sticker paper (if you've ever used it). The paper is thin, but not too thin where it sticks to the mat or is hard to remove from the backing. I have an Epson ET-2760 ink tank printer and the print quality comes out great!! The ink dries fast and designs look amazing. HOWEVER, the cutter goes crazy no matter what I do! With all the shininess and glare from the paper, it will not register. I have the Silhouette Portrait 3. I even created a sticker sheet of 1-inch circles on plain white sticker paper to place on the paper where the registration marks are positioned and it only worked once!! It's kind of weird that the machine doesn't cut right, because I've used other holographic paper overlays and they cut fine, but there's something about this paper that just doesn't work with the cutting machine. If you're going to use it, I suggest printing then cutting by hand. The papers are great, but it simply will not cut properly using the Silhouette cutting machine!! Overall, the papers are a great value! You get 5 of each design for just $8 and the sheets are 8.5x11 so not cutting required!
