I needed something light and durable for long days trail running or hiking in the mountains, and decided this was the right one, as reviews attested to it being light, effective and durable. I've used it on two all-day trips since it arrived, and both times it was an absolute necessity. In fact, I ended up having to share my water with others who had run out of water and had no other option. I prefer to fill it from mountain streams or lakes but apparently you can even use it with standing water. It's a great bit of kit and I'm very happy with the quality and performance so far.
