I've had this about 6 weeks - it has been reliable and performed well. Orienting the nib is easy. The design is a little on the weird side but that's no bad thing. The one price point where the Pelikan is cheaper than the Lamy but I suppose I do slightly prefer the Lamy Safari but there's not much in it.
