I'm very pleased with the purchase of this tumbler. I've only used it for cold beverages but it does keep everything cold for an extended period. It's not very lightweight but it's not too heavy either. It is durable and a good buy for the price.

Bought this along with a more expensive "name brand" travel cup for my wife. She prefers this one, it's easier to drink out of and keeps her coffee warmer longer, at a much better price. This was to replace a name brand travel cup that she finally retired because she'd dinged it up enough that the lid stopped fitting. :)It doesn't leak, keeps her drink warm, easy to hold, and was a cool color to boot. They did have a wide selection of colors, I picked this one just cuz it seemed to fit her style best. :)

The Contigo is the near perfect water bottle. But they have not figured out how to keep the paint from flaking off when washing in the dishwasher. So I went looking for a Contigo replacement. The WETO holds up in the dishwasher. However, its problem is that the lid is held in place only by the rubber gasket, and comes off when it gets bumped over. So I just use it around the house. It is great for humid environments. Here on the Big Island of Hawaii, the WETO does not sweat as long as it is not placed in the refrigerator or freezer. But with five cubes of ice, my water stays cold for the day. I think the Owala is going to be my travel water bottle. The WETO could compete if its lid screwed on securely.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very durable and it keeps my liquids warm. I love a hot cup of coffee.

I use these cups every single day for my morning coffee. I love them. They keep your coffee hot for a really long time. My only gripe is that the lids can be tough to clean, as coffee can get under the slider thing. They can be popped off to clean under, but this can be a bit of a pain. Other than that though, they are perfect.

Does not do as advertised. The description said it would keep cold for 12 hours. It didn't even do it for four. My water is not room temperature, but it didn't stay cold either. Waste of money.Update: I wasn't aware you had to put ice in it. I thought if your drink is ice cold when you pour it in the cup, then it would stay that way. It keeps my drink cold for about 8 hours if I put ice in it. For the price, I guess that's decent.

Overall, nice heat/cold retention. Would be better if, like many other mugs, it had a rubber pad on bottom of mug to provide more grip and make less noise when setting it down. Otherwise, very nice.
