Curiosity and Wonder Inspiring!
These are absolutely awesome and give a feeling of wonder to everyone who sees them! I have had my own for about 2 years now and gave one as a gift to my partner about a year ago. We both keep them in our offices, so we get constant compliments and inspire curiosity and joy as people watch it respond, move, dance to voices and music. It honestly looks just how it does in videos of it -- super cool and a little out of this world! I love seeing it even after two years and it works beautifully, was easy to setup, and remains just as responsive, clean (the glass is clear), and interesting to this day!!

Really cool!
The media could not be loaded. This speaker is way cool! It also picks up voices and sounds from the room if there’s no music playing. Really fun and neat product. Was a hit for Father’s Day.

Absolutely awesome!
Totally random purchase. I was a little worried causemost reviews were good but a few had particularly bad experiences (seems like factory issues and product defects), including the glass breaking and oil/ferrofluid spilling onto their desks. But, I’m glad I splurged for it.Playing with the magnet manually is a lot of fun, did that right out of the box, though I’m a little concerned banging the metal magnet on the glass a lot might not be great haha (probably can put some cloth or rubber at the end of the magnet cause it’s strong enough still). But, when you get it plugged in and turned on, the backlight is BRIGHT, and staring it react to music is a lot of fun.I had sort of imagined it like those videos where people put sand or fluid on speakers and it makes very cool, perfectly parallel shapes. It won’t make and hold specific geometric shapes with music, it’s sort of like lava lamp but fast moving (globules bounce up and down, breaking apart and coming together), though in that random bouncing you do get moments where those signature Ferrofluid sharp spikey arms pop out. Behaved differently than expected but, I find it equally awesome and mesmerizing. The wood is nice looking too. Mine did have a TINY air bubble you can see when it is rotated but when it sits on a desk as intended, that bubble disappears into a tiny little gap at the very top of the circle and seems to cause no issues.

Fun for a while
This is a nice desktop device that does work fairly well. However the fluid does start to separate after a bit. Still okay for the price and novelty.

Buy with caution
The media could not be loaded. Worked well for a week or so, but now there is a brown air bubble that has separated and it completely ruins the aesthetic. I only used the device a handful of times before this happened.Seems to be an issue for others, so I would buy with caution. For $129, I expect better.Amazon is saying I cannot return it, so I am hoping this review finds its way to the company. Would happily update the review if they can help.

Maybe I just had bad luck
Look, this thing IS cool when you get one that isn’t damaged. The first one I did replace because it came with an internal stain in the glass that wasn’t too hard to spot with the eye and came up clear as day on camera. I’m trying to use this personally as background visual overlay for short clips showcasing new music. I did still test the first unit and it was fantastic, just that blemish. The second unit comes and the box gets taken inside within an hour. I’ve seen others talk about, as well as the product description, keeping it out of heat. Well it was taken inside and left in the hallway for a day before I opened it. Some of the terrafluid had melted onto the glass. Can’t be moved with the magnet, it’s done. Unfortunately I don’t get a second replacement option so I will try to buy the item one last time and may update my review if I’m able to avoid similar circumstances.EDIT: The customer service from the seller has been fantastic. For that alone, I am changing my review to 5 stars. I’ve attached two pictures; one depicting the melted fluid and the second showing a replacement unit I was provided free of charge with a small interior bubble defect. The seller clarified that these are hand blown glass fabrications so defects happen. It DOES NOT IMPAIR THE DEVICE IN ANY WAY. It is purely cosmetic and because this will be on camera I just don’t want it to have the mark. It works beautifully and I’ve already gotten so many compliments from family and coworkers. They were kind enough to give me a discount due to the issue as well. Stellar service.

Very cool desk toy and conversation starter
This thing is super fun. I keep it on my desk and talk to it to make it dance when I’m bored. I let it charge overnight and then during the workday it runs on battery all day no problem (~9 hours generally).I turn it away a lot so that people who come into my office are greeted by it and it’s been a big hit. People love it and it’s even diffused some stressful situations. Great conversation starter. The ferrofluid itself is very reactive to the magnets and when it really gets going, it likes to split apart into smaller forms and then reform later. It’s a ton of fun to watch. One caveat to all of this: the first one I ordered had a manufacturing defect (dark line across the width of the white backing circle) and suboptimal ferrofluid reactivity. I exchanged it and the replacement was perfect, so no harm no foul.
