80xBumper Clips Fender Retainer Kit w/ Fastener Remover For Impreza Forester WRX

I purchased this pack at the suggestion of a friend in order to replace some plastic clips on my Subaru BRZ. I ended up using all of the 7mm fasteners to replace those that went with my fender liner. Unfortunately, there was not enough to cover both my left and right fender liners. Luckily, I had purchased similarly sized ones from another vendor, getting the job done. The 10mm fasteners were what I had used to replace those that held up part of my scrape plate/pan. there are still plenty, and more than enough if I need to replace them in the future. As for the other fasteners, I have yet to use them. As for the included fastener remover, it worked for everything that I needed. Unfortunately, I ended up breaking the fastener remover while I was moving all of the fasteners on one of my fender liners, but, to be fair, I did use a lot more elbow grease than need be. Pros: The quality of the fasteners are amazing and fit every piece of trim that I was working with. Cons: There aren't a lot of 7mm fasteners for the price that was paid. The fastener removal too is relatively weak and will break if you use just the right amount of force.

I had a couple of missing clips on my Subaru Outback and looked all over for variety packs. I didn't want to pay a premium from Subaru to buy single clips. There were many cheaper options on Amazon, but I went with this kit based on other reviews. The clips and other hardware does not seem cheap at all and fits perfectly in the spots I needed them for. One clip was used to pull two pieces of plastic together that had a half-inch gap in my engine bay and it is still holding strong after about 3,000 miles. I am glad I got the kit for future clips that need to be replaced. It is well organized the storage case is a bonus.

These darn things are so handy to have around. I get it. They're just connectors. But they do the job.

If you own a Subaru get this kit.....heck I'm on my second. I had a 2010 Outback and now a 2024 Ascent and the kit works great for both. Either you break the push rivet on removal or it shoots across the garage, just grab one out of this kit and you're on your way. Nicely made, has many of each size and a decent plastic case.

If you have a Subaru BRZ do NOT use the phillips head screw type...cause they will go in but they won’t come out. Don’t do it! You can use the other size instead and they fit great. I liked them so much, I ended up changing out all the ones that came on the car, and almost every one of those was a pain to take off and most were stuck. These new ones actually work and come off easy as pie while retaining their original shape, so they don’t get jammed when going back in. This is gonna save me a lot of time when I take the bumper off, or change my fog lights or side markers, or remove my trunk liner...and you definitely need these if you want to put on the Rally Armor mud flaps. I broke off one of my old rivets in the process of that install, which is why I had to order these.

Cheap... decent quality I guess, 3 stars because the philips head type won’t come out in one piece once they’re in... there’s no point in them having the philips head, it’s completely unusable crap... though for the price I’m okay with using them and breaking them whenever it is time to take them out for whatever reason... For the money you get decent regular type push/pull clips + disposable philips type clips... not a bad deal, still 3 stars though... would give five if they were all push/pull pop type thingies...

I hit a piece of truck tread on the freeway that tore loose part of the rubber mudguard on my Subaru Outback (2017). Luckily only the plastic rivets had popped out. This kit supplied the fasteners I needed to re-attach the part, saving me a trip to the dealer and a hefty invoice. The 8mm fasteners turned out to be the exact fit. They went in easily and popped into place, and hold tight. These appear to be well made and solid. I recommend.

After a close encounter with a black bear I had to do some repair on my front bumper cover. And of course broke a few fasteners in the process. This kit has a good variety and I was able to hook the cover with all new fasteners.
