Fun pack of figurines
I bought this pack of guys to place on a figural castle cake for my grandson's fifth birthday. He liked the guys and loved the cake. They are well made and quite sturdy.

Very happy with these for my two preschoolers
For $10 per tube, I got one of these for each of my preschoolers and they love them (I also bought each a Wildkin soft pencil case to store them for travel). The boys really love these figures, and I like that they are virtually unbreakable and of a nice ~2 inch; size. The dragon is an extra touch that both boys really enjoy, and they also really like having the horses in the set. I just ordered a Calafant Dragonrock Castle for each of them: these are $10 cardboard castles that they can build and color, so we have some neat, interactive and constructive play ahead of us.I know these knights are not as well detailed and painted as Papo and Schleich figures, but at $10-30 each, these higher tier figures are much more than we need. I think we'll get a lot more out of having more knights and the two castles too. If you have $200 per child, you should get Scleich castles and knights. If you're budget conscious, I think your kids' imaginations will thrive on these Safari Ltd. Toob knights, and they'll be great for traveling too.

Nice little set great for smaller kids
These little plastic figures are very well detailed considering their sizes, and my 4-year-old niece thinks they're wonderful. I bought them so she'd have something to play with when she visits (practically every day) and she prefers these small ones to a larger set I bought for the same reason. Some of the pieces are a bit distorted--a bit of extra plastic on a hoof, etc. I cut them away to make them stand up, and while the horses in particular are not very stable, my niece can set them all up before she knocks them down, so good enough. The dragon is her favorite and I have commenced to fear for it, but so far it's managed to survive the worst she's dished out. It's a surprising mix of medieval figures--all eight of the knights seem to come from different eras. The red figures seem to be from circa 1100, 1415, 1500 and 1550, while the blue are from circa 900, 1275, 1325 and 1450. My niece is a little too young to appreciate the differences in armor, but that's the reason I rated the educational value so high; with an older child one could actually show the evolution of armor from the Frankish period through the renaissance. An amazing feat with tiny plastic figures with only vaguely human faces.

Fun Toys to Collect
I bought these three years ago for my then almost-3-year-old son. He liked his dad's D&D miniatures, but wasn't allowed to touch them.He enjoyed playing with these, and collecting them one-by-one as rewards for his good behavior. They look nice and are fun for battling. They are a great size to take along in the car, a restaurant, whatever. We went to the beach with some big kids, and they grabbed these from the car for their sandcastles. I was worried that they'd be ruined by the mucky sand, but they cleaned up nicely.Sometimes we use them inside with a castle, sometimes out in the sandbox or yard. Definitely still getting used 3 years later, and held up just fine.

Adds variety to Duplo collection, compatibility inconsistent.
PROS: The set adds variety to our Duplo collection and has encouraged imaginary play for our 2 & 4 yr olds. The galloping sounds from the 2 horses was an unexpected bonus feature. (Photo compares this larger, audible horse to smaller Duplo.) The 2 ladies skirts are elastic waisted and removable (photo). The 2 canons fire with surprising power, watch out!CONS: Compatibility with Duplo is hit or miss. Figures won't sit on Duplo horses. The 2 brown cannon carts won't attach anything, circles are too thin and small (see photo). Those are going to the garbage. Looser heads turn on their own so you will be righting them forward often. So, it's not a seemless compatibility with Duplo. My newly 2 year old gets frustrated, but my about to be 4 yr old has the patience and skills to accommodate the issues. They don't feel cheap in weight or texture. Keeping them, still a decent value at $20.
