I have a nearly-obsolete Samsung Tab E that I adore and use every single night. As such, its old battery is growing weaker as it ages; I tended to go through charger cords at a ridiculous rate because the tablet does die after only a couple hours so I need to keep it connected until I'm finished with it. I also am guilty of falling asleep while reading ebooks at night, which can cause the poor tablet to tumble to the carpet as I change positions in my sleep. When that happens, almost every cord I've ever used winds up eventually breaking inside right where the plug connects to the cord. *NOT THIS ONE*! It's got a nice heavy plastic coating on the cord that's extremely sturdy and can readily handle my foolishness, plus it's a great length, so my position isn't limited at all when it's connected. It has a good USB micro head that fits snugly, and it charges well, at a solid average rate. It's worth every cent-- especially (and hopefully) it's the last one I'll need to get!

That's why I didn’t hesitate to purchase these cables. Even a simple visual comparison is enough to understand that this is a reliable product. I didn't conduct specific measurements for transferring and writing various files through this cable, but photos and videos transfer quite quickly from my computer to the hard drive. The three-foot length is just what I needed; it's sufficient for both charging and transferring data to the hard drive. However, keep in mind that this is USB 2.0 standard, so don’t expect speeds of 4 gigabits per second; its maximum speed is ten times lower. I bought a pack of five cables, and I’m satisfied with this purchase.
