These disposable drawstring tea bags are easy to fill with a round measuring teaspoon.The material does not effect the taste of your loose leaf tea.The bags are strong and have long string ties. Unfortunately, if you leave the string ties hanging up and over the edge of your cup the they will soak up the tea and it will drip down the outside of the cup into the saucer or onto your counter.The tea bags are thick enough to keep even the small pieces of tea leaves inside of the bag and yet thin enough to let the tea flavor steep out into your cup.I fill them with 1 1/2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea. You don't need to tie the bags closed. I simply pinch the drawstring ties and sinch the bag closed before pouring boiling hot water over them and release the filled tea bag and string ties into the cup and wait 3 to 4 minutes for a perfect cuppa tea.

This is my second order and I will be ordering again. It holds my tea. Nothing comes through as it sometimes does with the tea balls. There are no funny taste or smells.I want to talk about the shipping now. I was down to my last two bags. I have had a really bad cold. I waited until the last minute. I figured I would use the tea balls. What a wonderful surprise. Guess who will be having all the tea her congested stuffed up body desires ? That is right . Me ! What I love about these is that I can use my fresh herbs for tea or I also put natural herbs into them to make eye patches for natural beauty for for baths filled with lavader, and mint .ty

I like to have tea in the go sometimes and I don’t always have the luxury of hot water. With these tea bags, I can put them in a water bottle and shake vigorously and they won’t break! I can smash them with my spoon also and they never burst. I tried regular prepared tea bags in my water bottle and I didn’t know how fragile they were. They broke and I barely even shook the bottle. Now I cut open the store tea and pour it into one of these bags when I’m on the go. No more broken tea bags! Love these. I have my own herbs that I use along with the contents of prepared tea bags. Highly recommend. Just fill them and tie them with a knot. No spilled herbs!
