I installed it over stairs going down, so the lowest step is level and the highest one is quite high. We had to convince the cat to try it by placing treats on the steps and a couple in the hammock itself. Afterwards, however, the cat seemed to get the idea and goes there on her own quite often.I was hoping she'll use the steps as scratching posts, and that seemed to not happen. She'll pull out her nails when she steps on it, but she prefers to use furniture as scratching posts.Overall, we're happy with this purchase.

They're fine but the instructions aren't super good and the dry wall anchors don't work, so just make sure you have your own

The screws for the wall were too small for the fasteners. I had to use my own screws and fasteners for it. Almost ran out of fasteners. Thanks for the extra holes in my wall I had to plaster. 👎🏼

Would be perfect if it came with appropriate wall anchors. Wall anchors included will not secure the pieces appropriately, especially if you expect the cats to actually use it. If you have studs or a full plaster wall should be fine, but if you have dry wall, please buy molly anchors! Otherwise the materials are good, and it is as pcituered in the ads :) Note in my picture the is another set not included with this purchase!

The products themselves are great, but the hardware sent along to attach to the wall needs to be changed. Had to find different drywall anchors than the ones provided.

The steps are great, my cats love them. The hammock dowels fell off the inserts the bolts screw into so you can mount them to the wall plate. It literally fell off the wall when my cat was walking across it leaving the wall mount with two bolts sticking out. I had to build a wood frame around the entire hammock to attach it securely to the wall.

My cats love this item, but if you don't have the room, you'll find yourself bumping into it, I've got it in a window in an area that I don't go to to often

The only way you can install these are to find the studs. The anchors do not support the steps or cradle properly whatsoever. The screws do not tighten in and just spin in the wall
