Excellent pruning shears. Easy to use and return to an open position after each cut. Easy on the hands. I tried to cut small branches that were hard wood and it upset the mechanism. Had to tighten the screws to get it back to work well. Better if used on small stuff. Should last a long time

I chose these garden shears because they looked like they were well made and they were not made in China. From the packaging it shows the country of manufacture is Germany. I have had name brand garden shears before and the most recent ones I had literally fell apart. I am confident that these shears will last longer than I will. They are very quality made shears with much attention to detail. The locking mechanism is not some cheap plastic sliding lock. It is a swivel metal lock. The spring, which came apart on the old one, is a very nice heavy duty spring on this one. I will only be using this shear for dead heading flowers in my garden but from the looks and feel of it I have no doubts that it would cut branches up to nearly 3/4 inch. The quality of the materials used to make this shear are top quality. In the picture of the closed shear I am pointing to the swivel latch that locks the shears closed.

Only down side is the color. Can blend in with grass & weeds when droped. Every thing else is excellent.

I use clippers a lot in my garden. These cut through one and a half inch roots with maybe three hard presses on the cutters. The mechanism seems strong. I’ve had them for about two weeks. I’ve had other clippers that use this same lock and It has gotten In the way when I was using it, but this one seems to stay out of the way very well when it’s open.

I need new pruning shears and didn’t want to pay a lot. The ones I had were to the point the blades were chipped and they weren’t working well, I have had them many years. I had purchased others in the past, but kept going back to those, not sure where I got them or the brand it was so long ago. The price was right and everything matched up to what I wanted, so I took a chance. I think I like these better than the others. They are very sharp and cut thicker stems. I will be checking out this companies other gardening tools.

Good for up to 1/2 branch anything lager you have to apply a lot of pressure

I purchased this item as a backup to the same exact pruners that I have had for about 4 years. The 4 year old ones are still working and I use them almost every day to trim something or other. There will come a time when they finally will die on me so I purchased this new one so I don't have to do without. Absolutely love these-they are sturdy, easy to use, and the bright orange handles make it easy for me to find if I drop them on the ground. Great product and yes I would buy them again.

I use them every day. Very sharp and precise and almost no resistance, so good for older users. A quality tool that is a pleasure to use. They replace Fiskars junk I bought at Home Depot for the same price. No comparison!

I was ready to splurge, but these GRÜNTEK shears have proven to be incredible value instead. They feel wonderfully sturdy and well-made in the hand. Hatte meine Felco leider im Gartenabfall mit weggeschmissen. Nun musste schnellstens eine Neue her, Felco war mir aber zu teuer, darum habe ich mich für diese Gartenschere aufgrund der Beschreibung und des günstigen Preises entschieden. Die Entscheidung war genau gold richtig. Sie ist genauso stabil wie meine Felco, ist sehr gut verarbeitet, liegt gut in der Hand und ist superscharf und schneidet auch grössere Äste leicht durch. Dieses Fabrikat muss man sich merken und ich werde nur noch auf diese Marke zurückgreifen .
