Great Text!!!! Actually kept my attention well. It was easy reading and comprehension! I am now more interested in Theoretical Foundations and Nursing Theory than I have ever been!!!

Good book for learning nursing theories. There was a lot of biographical information that I felt was not necessary. Some of the methods for remembering and differentiating the theories such as paper folding were not helpful.

A short master's level text book but written in a way that it covers the most amount information within a short span.

Good book to learn about nursing theory. Easy to read and conceptualize.

Not impressed with this book for a master's level course's main text. I'll admit it was easy to read with very short chapters so there wasn't much depth to each theory listed. I definitely needed another text to complete all coursework. It used, what was to me, a strange comparison of art to nursing theory which did nothing to help me understand what they were trying to point out. Glad I was just able to rent and return it.
