these rods are a true 3/4 inch and pair perfectly with the Pillow Block Mounted Ball Bearing brackets I picked up. super snug fit, absolutely perfect for the steering rack and pinion set up on the Baja Bug build. I only needed one rod for my garden trailer axel but this came as a package with two as the same price of one at the local store.There are some reviews about the dimension of the rod is off, but the ones I received are spot on with slide fit for 3/4 inch bearings. Excellent product,

Returned product b/c it wouldn’t fit in the sleeve on my project

I bought these rods to replace a damaged support for independent wheel mounts. This works great as I now have a through axle to support the generator. I cut the rod to correct length once installed.

Rods were junk. They were both bent on arrival and could not be used and one of the ends was mushroomed as if it had been dropped. It would not fit the saddle bearing. Will toss and buy local like I should have done in the first place. Customer service was a joke, wanted me to send them back before replacement. Not worth the hassle, done with it.

I bought a generator cover. The supplied 5/8" tubing was paper thin and would bend/kink at the drop of a hat. I replaced all of those with these 5/8" steel rods. Now is good and solid. Easily cut to proper length using a hacksaw.
