I have been using this brand's raspberry shampoo for a long time , thought I'd give this type a try too. It is very good.Rich lather, smells great.... and no little "bumps" along the back of my hairline like some cheaper shampoos seem to cause. My hair came out nice and soft looking too.The ingredients are far superior to most shampoos and still reasonably priced. No way am I spending more than $20 for a bottle of any shampoo!

I have 2a type hair. Creates a luxurious, thick lather and really leaves hair feeling squeaky clean (like literally, when I ran my hands through while rinsing, it felt squeaky clean.) Paired with the conditioner and it worked great. Not much residual coconut smell after drying.

I have had an excellent experience with this shampoo! My hair was extremely dry— so I switched to this natural nourishing coconut shampoo to see if it would make a difference. The results have been excellent. It imparts enough moisture to leave my fine, straight hair soft—without weighing it down. Plus—it smells divine! And added benefits are: ZERO parabens, phthalates, colorants, silicone, EDTA, propylene glycol, petroleum products phosphate—AND it is Vegan and cruelty-free. Win-win! I love it and will keep using it.

I've been using this for years and years - and as a body wash, not just a shampoo. It has a great, yet barely noticeable scent, rinses easily, and got rid of the dry skin patches on my elbows that had been irritating me for years. We've even used it to wash the dog when he's got irritated skin. They also make a conditioner, but I haven't found a need for it, as the shampoo does a great job on it's own. The only negatives I can come up with regarding this shampoo revolve around packaging. The cap tends to retain water, so if you're traveling with it, make sure to drain the water out before you pack it. And secondly, I wish it was available in a large, salon style pump bottle.

Smells like fresh coconut. Just a little creates a thick creamy lather that washes away quickly and easily leaving no residue behind. Get the matching conditioner. You hair will be clean and manageable all day.

I love Whole Foods. Or rather, I used to love Whole Foods, when they were still independently owned. They were small stores peppered throughout Los Angeles, and I absolutely loved their products. Then one day, there was an announcement that a new Whole Foods would open up, and this whole foods, in Pasadena, was huge in comparison. My sister and I were very excited and would drive out there once a week to get our groceries. One of the mini products I purchased from Whole Foods was desert essence products. Most especially their shampoos and conditioners. This particular scent is my favorite. Their body cream is also a favorite of mine. Unfortunately, when Whole Foods sold out to Amazon, it was only a matter of time before the quality of their products started to go down. And sure enough desert essence products were one of the first casualties of this buyout. Normally, I don’t purchase this product from Amazon, I get them from iherb.com. But they were temporarily out of stock so I bought them here.

Works fine. Cleans my hair so that’s a win. Smells good.

Great product, great price. You gotta love coconut. If you don't want to smell like a Jimmy Buffett song, don't use this.
