Sturdy but, small.
Seems to be well made but, it is small. It isn’t big enough to fit an animal that weighs 300lbs as described. The straps to go around the animals neck and back end are very short.

Stitching tore with first use.
This sling made trimming our goats' hooves easier - yay! 3 stars! Unfortunately, the single line of stitching on the straps pulled out with the first use. I can reinforce all the stitching but rebuilding was not my goal when purchasing. We have Nigerian Dwarfs. They're certainly far below the 300 lb. limit .

Durable and Reliable for Weighing Small Livestock
I recently purchased the Boyistar Calf Sling and used it for the first time on April 16 to weigh my goat kids. The quality is impressive—sturdy materials, well-designed straps, and secure reinforcement ensure a safe and comfortable weighing process for the animals. It’s easy to use, holds up well under weight, and provides accurate results. If you need a reliable sling for weighing small livestock, this is a great choice! Highly recommend.

NOT for calves!!!
Terrible. I suppose if your animal was sedated or paralyzed it would work great. Any movement from the animal and it slides to either the front or the back and off the animal goes. I tried using the straps that I believe are supposed to keep that from happening and that’s when the seams tore out. We were trying to weigh new born calves. Typically 55-80 pounds. This product is junk and will be thrown away as my return window closed before I could use it.

Worked great in my goat.

May work okay, but not as pictured
The sling looks like it will be fine for weighing an older lamb - but way too big for a newborn. It may work if it's scrunched together? or like a hammock to lay the lamb in it? Not what I expected from the picture, but may work anyway. Will find out a few weeks when lambs start arriving.
