Easy to install
Got this for my techie son-in-law, which he enjoyed mounting to his pantry door and linking it to his telephone app for turning on the light from a different area of the house. Product also arrived in a timely fashion.

Lower battery life
Paired easily with my hub. Altgough this unit used 2xAAA batteries, so battery life isn't as good

Does NOT work with Nexia
Garbage. Door sensor des not work with Nexia American Standard. Paired and paired over and over, changed battery, relocated sensors. Nothing, does not detect any door movementat all. Useless junk. Don't waste your money.

Good Temp Sensor, Works With Vera, Flaky Tamper
I have a few of the Fibaro Door/Window sensors Version 1 (needs external temperature probe) around, and thought I'd try these out because they have the temp sensor internal. It uses the S-2 security, and I sometimes have to "fight" with my Vera Secure to get S-2 devices paired. The first FGDW-002 went easy, the second one did not. I ultimately did a "factory reset-restore from backup" cycle on the Vera, and it paired immediately after that. The second one also had a problem with one of the tamper switches. It uses the pressure from the sensor cover when in place to push on a switch on the side of the internal sensor body. The first FGDW-002 had no problems, but the second one would not depress the switch properly. So I had to tape a thin piece of cardboard to the inside of the sensor cover in the right place so it would depress the switch when the cover was put on. This may have been part of my pairing problems with it, I don't know.Another negative is the convoluted method by which you do a factory reset. Hold both tamper buttons, and with your third hand, insert the battery, wait for the right kind of flashing on the LED, let a button go, press it again, hope for the best. It's a pain.

The SmartestHouse is a great seller with outstanding support
Purchased from Amazon/The Smartest House and paired it in openHab (2.2) environment using Aeon Labs Z-stick (Zwave+). Works perfectly ! The SmartestHouse is a great seller with outstanding support.

Works as advertised
Works fine with Home Assistant and Zwave stick. Adhesive was not very strong. Had to use double sided tape.

Install needs to be perfect
Pairing with hub (hubitat) was painless. Getting this to install on my door was a nighmare. One of the reasons I got this was because it was small. That ended up being a bad thing. The sensor and magnet need to be lined up perfectly in order to work properly. I had to tilt the sensor slightly in order to get an accurate reading. Screws are not included and the screw holes are very small. the adhesive is garbage. Thankfully I had som 3m small strips laying around. Went through a few to get it perfect. It works now but was way harder than it needed to be.
