I bought this for one reason and that was to cheer up a friend. My friend was having a terribly bad day during a terribly bad year, and she also happened to like puppies. This did the job in spades.My friend’s bad day didn't change but she was able to deal with it better.There's a little written about each one. so, you might learn something about particular breeds. While this is more of a coffee table book than a field guide, it's worth every penny.It's clear the photographer is a pro, and not just filling the pages. These are great, lively, happy puppy pictures. We run an after school program and are always on the look out for engaging books that are consumable in one sitting - there is not always an option to read the same book you had yesterday. This book has been a HIT! Our kids love photo books in general, they feel more mature than picture books but don't have the pressure of a chapter book. This has been well loved 2nd-5th grade, and is great for a group read.

This book will only make you smile. As an animal lover, I proudly display the miniature sized book on my coffee table along with similar books like, “Treats”. It arrived to me with a tear in the cover and Amazon replaced it, no questions ask. Try and get Barnes and Noble to do that! I’m highly satisfied with both the book and the customer service that I received. I highly recommend.

This is a wonderful book. It's a bit informative, but mostly beautiful. Gorgeous images of all kinds of puppies in all kinds of contexts, featured in different categories. I'm really enjoying opening it to different sections and reading a bit here and there, while taking in the lovely images of people's puppers.

Wonderful real world & up close puppy pics with some small tidbits of relatively unknown information on some of the breeds, as well as just great puppy facts! Great read & didn’t want to put it down once I started.

Adorable puppy photos but not enough breed variety. Too many photos of a select group of dog breeds. Would not be helpful choosing the puppy I want next.

I had purchased The Dogist last year and really enjoyed the photography. The Dogist Puppies has an adorable selection of puppy photography and excerpts that dog and animal lovers will enjoy. The physical book itself is very well put together with beautiful quality pages that make this book a great coffee table book to display. Definitely recommend!
