When you spend hours layering and glazing to get the perfect transition, the last thing you want is a satin or semi-gloss sheen catching the light and ruining the scale effect. This varnish completely kills any unwanted reflections, giving your models a professional, museum-quality appearance that makes colors look deep and saturated.Beyond the aesthetics, it offers a tough protective layer that is essential for gaming pieces that will be handled frequently on the tabletop. It’s incredibly versatile in how it can be applied; it’s thin enough to go through an airbrush straight from the bottle for a perfectly even coat, but it also behaves beautifully when applied with a traditional brush without leaving unsightly streaks or bubbles. Because it dries completely transparent, you don't have to worry about it "frosting" or clouding over your hard work, even in slightly more humid conditions. It’s the perfect final step to unify different paint finishes—like where a wash might have dried a bit shiny—and bring the whole miniature together into one cohesive look. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product through the airbrush *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 27 May 2026* This stuff is really nice to use through the airbrush and gives a true Matt finish. Can’t fault it. ## Frequently Bought Together - AK Interactive Ultra Matt Varnish - Vallejo - Airbrush Thinner for Acrylic Paints 200 ml.
