Disappointing end to a great series, SPOILERS
1st, my background: I have followed & Collected the Scarlet Witch since 1972. I collected all the books in this storyline. While the earlier books were wonderful, this last collection disappointed me greatly. The writing was very simple, contained too many clichés and made her story turn trite. The premise was fine and good. The Witches Path is a good challenge, but when it came to the task, she performed it quickly and with relative ease. There was far more talk than action and the talking spoon fed us rather than relying on the art and action to tell the story. Comics in general have turned from action to introspective monologuing or dialoging and it has made them far less interesting to me. We come to see our heroes perform impossible tasks with virtuosity and flair in their unique style. This collection showed us Wanda can explain things and everything... i mean EVERYTHING is red. In an all red graphic, her red does cannot stand out.The penultimate chapter was the most disappointing. Suddenly Agatha Harkness is 28 with long, straight hair??? I do not think so. It would be like Taking away the collar points from Dr. Strange's cape!! .. oh... wait...Also bothersome, Wanda's iconic tiara, one of the best uniform pieces in Marvel, now has dangling protrubences on either side of her face, like underdeveloped tentacles. Bleh! IN the earlier books they were strings of jewelry which was better. But still, the clean sharp lines of the tiara give the most dynamic feel. Her cape is now waist length. It gives her a juvenile, Batgirl, College student look when at this point in her career she is in power, mature and performing the tasks at a Sorcerer Supreme level. (She will fix magic, a task even Dr. Strange is not up to). Give her back her long, full cape! The worst of it was that nothing much happens. She walks the path chatting with Agatha and her mother. Lots of family lore talked out, she beats a demon and a warlock easily, the end. That is the contents of one comic, not a full graphic novel imho.

Solid Finish to Scarlet Witch Solo Series
James Robinson wraps up “Scarlet Witch” on a solid note. The series offered an interesting if often too introspective plot as Marvel shuffled the deck--yet again--on our titular heroine’s backstory. There are some great action scenes and solid character development moments even if the constant changing of artists probably works better for reading individual issues instead of binging through them. Not a great collection of comics by any means but there’s enough here that most readers will enjoy them. I’d offer the book 3.75 stars if possible which rounds up my rating.

Finally a great Scarlet Witch story
After many years, Wanda gets the treatment deserved in one of the best storylines I have read about The Scarlet Witch. James Robinson always seems to delve deep into the history of any character he writes and extract subtle nuances, then restructure them into larger meaningful experiences. With the convoluted history Wanda has, and the many major events she has been the focus of, this story was a breathe of fresh air, cleaning the barnacles and pointing her into a shining future. To me it was masterful how Robinson brought Wanda full circle to her return to the Avengers when it has seemed like every other writer has used her to create havoc (or was it chaos) leading to destruction of her Avengers membership time and again. I highly recommend reading all three volumes of this outstanding storyline.

A Interesting Character That Needs To Shine
The continuation and final volume of Wanda aka Scarlet Witch’s stand alone series. We are introduced to more back story and learn what the future holds for Scarlet Witch and a little about her brother Quicksilver. With this final installment we learn more about Wanda’s family and what is causes problems with magick in the world. The story was intriguing and art was so so. There is a lot crammed into this volume. I did feel that because I never read any of Marvel’s Civil War story or any other comics with Scarlet Witch that I was lacking some information. I also knew basic things like her being Quicksilver’s sibling and who her parentage was suppose to be. I also feel the ending to this particular storyline was rushed and I was yearning for more of Wanda’s story.I would love to see more comics with Scarlet Witch. She seems to always end up in the background of other characters stories. I think she really needs more tales just following her. A witch with as much power as she has should not be in the background.

Just as the series showed some promise, it is cancelled.
The series finally starts to come together as Wanda resolves things with her mother and fixes magic. However it all just kind of fizzles out at the end. You can tell Robinson had to wrap up things in a hurry and things are left open ended.

Formatting Error
A truly great series. However, the formatting on the final pages is off on the edition I received to the point that words are off the page and things can't be read. A little disappointing when I preordered this weeks in advance.

Great!
It was great! In this book scarlet witch is in search of more answers of her past... The art was great just like in the previous volumes. The last issue was really psychedelic... The only downside of this serie I would have love seeing a nemesis or something like that where scarlet witch had to become stronger in order to defeat him

Tudo pra mim
