Our family loves escape games, so this isn’t our first rodeo. The game setup (for the adult game master) was incredibly confusing. After 20 mins of reading the instructions I had to pass them to my husband and together we spent another 20 minutes trying to figure out how to hide the different categories of cards and unsure how we were supposed to guide our kids (8 and 10) through the game. We simplified the “hiding” because we were worried that it would take the kids too much of their time to find 22 individual cards and that how *we* hid them would determine whether they were able to win or not. In the end, we hid the cards in three bunches and then started the timer when they found all the cards. So after nearly an hour of two relatively clever adults figuring out how to run the game, the kids solved all six puzzles in less than 15 mins. Great idea but other brands have better execution.
