I have super sensitive skin (rosacea) and this sponge is really gentle to use. I have been using it for a few months now with very minimal wear and tear. As long as you take care of it, it's worth the price.

This puff is terrific. A tiny bit of cleanser or Shu Uemura ...
I am a huge fan of the Japanese face puffs. I've purchased far more expensive ones infused with charcoal and I didn't notice a difference. This puff is terrific. A tiny bit of cleanser or Shu Uemura oil and I move it in a circular motion even over my lids and lashes. It is so gentle, and effective. Not a long life though; must be replaced approximately 4-6 weeks after purchase, but if hung to dry via the string and squeezed free of cleanser gunk, it's ok. Just have a stash, and as soon it looks a bit tired toss it! $Eight dollars? That's two Starbucks, just replace! Nothing is more gentle.I'm a 57 year old blue eyed blonde who recently moved from Southern California to Sun Valley, Idaho. My niece used ExfoliKate here, but it was too drying in this weather. She switched to the dew-puff and her skin is far more soft and less irritated. Products that work well in some climates don't always transition; no harm, no foul, one just has to be cognizant of climate, sun exposure, etc. This dew puff has Asian clay, said to absorb impurities. Other puffs have the anti-inflammatory turmeric infused and I will look forward to trying that. I would love this gentle sponge on it's own. So much nicer than a wash cloth, synthetic sponge. Use it for a month or so and then toss. I've never used a sponge on my eyes and eyebrows, but this one is so gently effective it's pretty amazing.Highly recommend.

Simplified My Skincare Routine
My first konjac sponge and one I would recommend. My skin type is combination, though I struggled with a lot of painful dryness on my cheeks in dry weather. I also break out on my chin and forehead. This konjac sponge has become the only consistent part of my skincare routine as it's easy to use, but also weirdly fun. The texture is really interesting (so spongy, but not like any sponge I've ever used -- very soft and squishy; I almost want to take a bite of it) and it feels nice to use! I wet it (I read somewhere to let it soak for five minutes, but while you want to make sure it's wet enough to be soft before you rub it on, it doesn't take anywhere near five minutes to soften), rub it on my face with no cleanser and pat dry. I squeeze out the excess water and hang it from my medicine cabinet. It dries quickly. I've been using it for a few weeks now in conjunction with sporadic coconut oil cleansing afterward. My breakouts have decreased, my dryness has cleared up, and in general, I just feel like my skin looks better. I love the idea that all I need for my skincare are a konjac sponge, coconut oil and a good sunscreen moisturizer (still looking for a keeper). I will definitely buy more when this one starts looking ratty, but for now, it's working great.

Noticed Huge Difference in Skin!!
I have been using this sponge for a few months now, and absolutely love it. I use it in the morning with water to cleanse my face. It feels amazing. After throughly wetting the sponge is so soft and delicate, even around the sensitive eye area. It feels really great on my sensitive skin.I originally bought this just wanting a more gentle way to cleanse my face in the mornings. After using it for a few weeks I noticed a really big difference in my skins texture, pore size, and over all completion. My skin tone seems to be more evened out, and the pores around my nose and forehead smaller. I have skin on the oily side, but I find after using the sponge in the morning my oil is much more manageable.I do not use this sponge with soap, just on its own with water. I find that it does a great job on its own. I also hang my sponge to dry. I like this more then laying it out, because it evenly dries and i don't worry as much about it sitting in/growing anything funky.I would highly recommend this sponge to anyone, especially someone wanting to go a more natural route in their skin care regimen.

Disappointed - can be a great product
I received a Dew Puff as a gift and loved it for 3 months when it finally fell apart. When I bought one it was mildewed when I opened it. It was sealed but perhaps there was a pin hole in the packaging. I realize that can happen with a natural product. I've had to add a cleanser with a scent.

I absolutely love what the Konjac sponge does for my face
I absolutely love what the Konjac sponge does for my face. It is important to consider any products you are using with the sponge because the material is so delicate. My best advice is to wash your face using whatever cleansing product you typically use. Then, thoroughly rinse your face. Afterwards, take a wet konjac sponge and lightly scrub (in circles) all over your face. It will remove impurities left behind by your cleanser. Blackheads will be diminished or even gone. The sponge is so sensitive on your skin that you won't feel like you are doing much at all and the end result will be incredibly clean beautiful skin. This is definitely a product you will want to try.A warning for men with beards/stubble... that will probably kill the konjac sponge. I recommend sticking to areas of your face the do not have stubble.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
This is probably one of my all time favorite amazon purchases!!! I love it so much I showed it to my sister, then ordered her one!The konjac sponge expands in water. I wet it, then put cleanser on my face, and apply the sponge to my face. It produces absolutely amazing lather, and it feels like washing your face with a cloud (how I imagine a cloud would feel anyway!) When you are done, rinse well and hang it to dry. The sponge will shrink back down to size, but do not be alarmed! It is not ruined, simply wet it again and use over and over. I cant wait to try other types (green tea, charcoal, etc) and possibly get the body sized sponge. My face feels so much cleaner when I use this as opposed to just cleanser with my hands. TWO THUMBS UP!! Buy them all!

Don't use with soap!
I originally liked the puff, just using it alone with water. The texture was luxurious and cleansing. I made the mistake of using soap with the puff and it somehow changed the feel of the puff, it now feels like a regular sponge. I don't need to spend $8.00 on a sponge to wash my face. Do not use with soap!
