I like this alarm a lot. Can be used with batteries or USB plug-in (cable and charger not included). Easy to program. I added the remote control, and you can pair more than one remote by purchasing separately here at Amazon.Alarm is quite loud, and it sounds off right away once the unit detects movement.

WARNING: Wear ear protection if you try to set up this device. In one of its modes, it emits an eardrum-crushing screech, and you can't tell what mode it's in because there is no user feedback for the settings on the device. There is a button to set the mode, but no way to tell if the button has been pressed successfully--not even a feedback beep--so you don't know what it's going to do when you set off the motion sensor to test it.I wanted to use this as a wireless motion-detecting doorbell for a small business. I did not want five-alarm fire bell.The two parts of the device require different kinds of batteries: three double A and three triple A. It does not come with batteries.I ended up throwing this in the trash. I'll try to get something else.

Love all the options on the sounds and the adjustable volume. You can also be alerted by flashing light only no sounds.

I put it at the passage of dig run and backyard. Now i know when exactly my dog is returning from doing jis deeds and no need to keep the kitchen door open or visually watch him to finish so we wont let the cold winter air in more than necessary.

Has worked for about 2 months, now it only chimes when turned on, the mode button is no longer working and intruder alarm chimes also not working, a little disappointed that the product is not really long lasting or reliable. Have let the seller a message asking for a replacement unit under the warranty, will update if one arrives. But don’t hold your breath.SELLER UPDATE. I GOT A MESSAGE FROM THE SELLER ASKING ME TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES EVEN THE EXISTING ONE WERE NEW, SO I DID WITH MORE NEW BATTERIES, THE UNIT DEVICE IS TOTALLY DYSFUCTIONAL. DO NOT BUY. Hola. Compré esta alarma con sensor de movimiento para controlar por las noches cuándo se levantaba un familiar con demencia senil. Como muchos enfermos de demencia, se levantaba a altas horas de la madrugada sin orientación y sin saber a dónde ir. Por ello, saber cuándo se levantaba mientras nosotros dormíamos era de crucial importancia.Esta alarma fue de las pocas ayudas que encontré para dicho cometido. Colocando el sensor de movimiento en una pared estratégica, nada más detectar su brazo en movimiento -destapando la cama- hacía sonar la alarma. Nunca falló, pues tiene buena sensibilidad si se sabe colocar y orientar bien.En cuanto a la alarma en sí, es de lo más completo del mercado: diferentes sonidos, diferentes melodías -incluidas varias locuciones en chino- y opción para que únicamente se ilumine el LED, sin sonido. Porque además de altavoz, esta alarma lleva un LED blanco y de varios colores .En cuanto al sonido de la alarma, sí, es fuerte. Nosotros lo poníamos al mínimo y aún así en medio de la madrugada sonaba bastante fuerte, por eso dejábamos la locución en chino: al ser una voz, no se oye tanto como una mediodía.El conjunto se empareja rápida y fácilmente. En nuestro caso, con paredes muy finas y una distancia no mayor a 20 metros no tuvimos ningún problema, pero quizás si la distancia es mayor o las paredes muy gruesas esto pueda cambiar. No lo sé.Si necesitas una alarma para vigilar el movimiento de una persona mayor por la noche, de un niño en su cuna, o para saber si entra alguien por la puerta, esta para el precio que tiene esta muy muy bien, se nota calidad y funciona de manera efectiva.
