Review: Best value for money backpack - My second Vans backpack, and I don't think they can be beaten on value for money. They're a good size, they're cheap, the designs are cool... I've had Eastpak and Hershel in the past but I prefer the Vans ones. I'm a mum in my early thirties, and I go out walking with my dog and kid a lot, and this fits everything I need and is comfortable and goes with everything. My bags get some serious hammer too and they just never quit. No holes, nothing.

I also ride my back. The rucksack is absolutely brilliant, and evenly distributes the weight with wide straps on the shoulders for comfort. My only gripe (which is minor) is that the VANS writing is in white, and not covered in embossed canvas. This means that it gets dirty fairly quickly, dependent on frequency of use. Other than that, well worth the purchase!!

My second Vans backpack, and I don't think they can be beaten on value for money. They're a good size, they're cheap, the designs are cool... Bought it for my daughter as her main school bag. She chose it and to be honest, it's surprisingly quite nice in the flesh.. Decent size, decent quality durable material and seems really comfortable once strapped on the shoulders. She fits what she needs in it no problem, including books, pencil cases and folder etc.
