BEAST (A Dark Mafia Romance) (Beast & Beauty Book 1)

Dark & Very Interesting
A book that keeps you reading and surprises you with the ending. You are hoping one of the bad guys will end up getting away and getting the girl. Unlike anything I have read before.

Wow
A great book. will pull at your heart strings. Beast is like nothing you've ever seen. The ending, I wasn't ready for. I desperately need the rest of the story!

Conflicted
I have conflicting feelings about this book. The story is interesting but the execution is weak. I’m surprised at all the glowing reviews. There were so many obvious contradictions. Better editing would have really helped and maybe some beta readers who could have pointed out some of the weak spots. I’m giving it 3 stars because I’m going to move on to the next book (so I’m interested enough to see what happens) but I did almost give up on it a few times and that is rare for me.

So good and dark
I’ve never read anything from this author before but it is so good and dark! Beast meets Aurora when he’s sent to kill her father. Beast is a killing machine and has been ordered to kill everyone. But when Beast sees her he can’t go through with it. So he takes her back to his owner because he knows everything Beast does so he has no choice. This begins the craziest ride you will ever be on. Beast is caged, tortured and terrifying but there’s just something about him that draws Aurora in. This book ends on a cliffhanger but Beauty, the next book in this duet is out. I bought it as fast as I could, I had to know what was next! Somehow this author threads the needle between way too far and just far enough. The chemistry is electric despite the horrible situation they’re in. Everything seems so hopeless but somehow they keep fighting and I loved it. This book also has a mystery surrounding Aurora that will break your heart. Her father is terrible to her but she loves him still and Beast is opening her eyes to his perfidy. One-click this baby if you like it dark and sexy!

Whoa
What a cliffhanger! Very well written with so much angst. This is a story about two individuals who have a similar upbringing (both being raised by monsters) and fall for each other. There is plenty of more depth and plot going on than just that, but I don't want to spoil anything.

Definitely had more potential…
It was a good read to pass time for sure but I have to agree with a few other ratings here - Lots of plot holes…some things didn’t make sense? Definitely the gloves. I guessed the plot twist from the start of the book to be honest. Also, why would she continue to call him “Beast”. I’m sorry but that made me so annoyed. For someone who “really cares for him” she really didn’t ask for his real name? (Which hey, if he can remember how got to where he was and became who he was…he should remember his actual name) or at least asked if there’s an alternative he would rather use? So much for constantly telling everyone that “He’s not a thing! He’s a human!!!” ….. but she also calls him Beast? Smh. Lots of unrealistic details like the flower saved after all those years? But overall, I enjoyed the story, definitely had more potential but it helped me pass some time.

Wow
Definitely not your usual Dark Mafia romance, but part one is great!!! Its great to learn about the main characters, and the struggles they've both been through, and the ones they share. The ending is a total cliffhanger, can't wait to read Beauty now!!!

Excellent
Wow, this is a rollercoaster ride. This is a complicated and compelling story that will keep you up til the wee hours. And there’s a whopper of a cliffhanger at the end but the next book is out shortly. The story revolves around Aurora and Beast. He was sold to the Mafia as a child. Then then tore his little life apart, teaching him to hunt and kill for them. He was housed in a cement cell with iron bars. It’s heartbreaking. He wants out and will do anything to be free until he meets Aurora. He was ordered to hunt her father but when he sees her, he changes his mind about the job. He wants this woman, he feels he can’t live without her. She’s been sheltered her whole life, by her father. Beast breaks into their house, but her father escapes leaving her. Then Beast returns with Aurora instead and his master isn’t happy.

Can be read well in one day
The story is quite good. Somewhat obvious who Beast actually is. I didn't hate the villains as much as I should have, because they were too shallow. It was pretty obvious what was happening. The ending is sad.

I enjoyed it, but it is not for the faint of heart. But nonetheless a good book with an intriguing storyline

Well worth the read. Goes to show a little kindness won't kill you.
I'm not so sure about the adult versions of fairy tales usually I can't get into them. But I read it because it had the mafia twist to it as well. I am SO glad I did too. It was well worth staying up all night just to finish it. I literally couldn't put it down.Auroras life has this undertone of poor girl what has she gone through? Besides her dad being cold and callous! Then she meets beast who truly has had no life outside his cage, except for kill kill kill. Yet the effect they have on each other wow. Excited for Beauty to come out. Another one I found out I had to wait to be released had me shouting " on come on, not again " 😂😂

I loved this book and although the small twist at the end was predictable I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey of these characters!Time to sink my teeth into the second and hopefully get the HEA I’m hoping and praying for!!!
