This oil has a nice earthy, woody scent to it. Wears well but wish it lasted longer. The scent only last an hour or so. I’ve debated ordering another bottle to just carry with me so I can reapply.

The product (Redwood oil) is really great and it’s my second time ordering it, it’s difficult to find oils like this that can really capture the essence of nature! My only sad moment this time was that when I received the package, I could smell the oil before opening the box and when I opened it, it was 1/3 gone. The top was a little loose/not closed all the way. So my only suggestion to the seller would be to check the tops before shipping if possible and perhaps package the item in a smaller box or with padding so it doesn’t get loosened on its way to the buyer. Either way I’m very happy with the oil and will probably purchase it again!

I was looking for a California Bay Laurel essential oil and this is the closest thing I could find. It smells pretty good and definitely in the neighborhood of what I was looking for. Confusingly, the bottle itself says it contains fir and cedar essential oils, not bay laurel, redwood, and fir essential oils like the Amazon description does.Four and a half stars for the product and then rounding up for the packaging which included a nice hand-written thank you note and a perfume sample.

This oil is far more of a hearty, “handsome” scent vs alluring essence that I hoped for

Ohhhhh my goodness. I was a little skeptical about how the magic of a misty coastal redwood grove could be captured in an essence, but this is my new favorite! I’ve been diffusing it constantly & it’s time to reorder. I just wish it came in larger volumes as the 5ml is quite small.

For those that bought this to add to a bath - be very careful. I added a few drops to my bath and after 5 min in the tub, experienced extreme burning and irritation. Even after quickly rinsing off, the irritation continued - only relieved through combination of hydrocortisone cream and Benadryl (not sure which of these stopped the irritation). It did smell nice - but some of you, like me, may be sensitive to this essential oil - so if you use in bath be careful.

I grew up spending much time in the Redwood Forests of California over the 44 years I lived in the State. Now, living in the midwest I find myself missing the smell of the Redwoods, especially the Giant Sequoia Redwoods found in the Sierra Nevada mountains. I came across this product labeled Redwood Mist. I ordered it right away. With anticipation I waited for it to arrive in my mailbox and as planned it soon arrived. That night I cracked open the seal and let it fill the room with the redwood scent. Something was off, not quite right. It smelled of something I never before encountered. This was certainly not the smell of the Redwood Forest, Coastal Redwoods or the forests of the Sierra Nevada mountains that I remembered, not even close. Thinking that my scent glands may have been off that particular day, I tried this again over several days. I contacted the manufacture who kindly offered to refund my purchase if I had bought it from them directly. By that time I had used about half the bottle as it is quite small. I opted not to pursue a refund because the cost of this is fairly minuscule compared to the time, packing, shipping and inconvenience to return it. The cost was to small. I'm not implying that you should not buy this, just informing you that it is not the scent of a Redwood Forest that you may anticipate.

In love with this scent! Very fresh and relaxing. If you like to hike in the woods, try this scent out.
