SUMMARY: This router is easy to set up and has great speed.DETAIL: I've used a lot of routers over the years, and I've had great results with Netgear routers. When my last router died, I looked around and settled on this one. The price was higher than some other options, but lower than the most expensive routers.Of all the routers I've had, this one is the easiest to set up. There is a useful Nighhawk app you can use, but it's not requried.We sometimes stream on multiple devices, and the router has been working great, in terms of speed and distance to devices. It has four antennas on top.There are two physical buttons on the top of the router that are very useful. You can use one to instantly the router's Wi-Fi transmission on or off.The other button make is very easy to quickly add devices (it uses the Wi-Fi Protected Setup process, known as WPS).

I purchased this router a little over a year ago. It took about 15 minutes to set up. This router covers my entire house no problem. I have NEVER restarted this router. If you're in the market for a new router, and this one covers your basic requirements, go for it. You will definitely be satisfied with your purchase.

We were having so many connection issues with our wi-fi router, and after a long time of research we decided to go with this one. It has worked flawlessly since, without one issue. It reaches everywhere in the house and handles all of our electronics, which can be a lot! 5 Smart TVs, 3-4 Tablets, 3 Game Consoles, 3 Cell Phones and more! My cable company just switched to fiber optic with tivo boxes. My old router, a Netgear Nighthawk AC 1750/R6700v3. I was getting buffering on my tvs, so I upgraded to this router. Wow, what a difference! Not only did this fix my buffering issue, but my upload and download speeds increased dramatically. Highly recommend!

I bought this router and the upload and download speeds are amazing

When you open the box it directs you to Nighthawk Router App for installation. Once you follow the instructions and it doesn't work it dials a customer service technician. Once they can't get it to work they go on a long tirade of how they can't hook it up and it's my fault. When I asked for a supervisor I was told they don't have any. He got belligerent and told me to call Netgear. When I asked why I would do that when I was instructed to call Nighthawk he hung up. I will be returning the router and never buying anything from Netgear or Nighthawk. Value is zero.
