Can these gloves be used for repeated direct contact with food? The web description says yes, but the box doesn't mention it.

These 4mil blue vinyl synthetic disposable exam gloves are medical grade and powder-free, and have passed rigorous standard quality tests such as FDA 510k and ASTM D5250. Qualified medical powder-free exam gloves require that the powder level is less than 2mg per glove, and has a AQL 2.5 or less rating for the water leak test. They are also latex-free, and therefore do not cause latex allergies. Such gloves are generally considered food-safe and can be used in food service and food prep applications.

With that said, disposable gloves and especially disposable vinyl gloves are designed for applications that require frequent glove changes such as food prep uses. Therefore we recommend that users change gloves frequently per the requirements of their specific applications, to avoid unnecessary risks of cross-contamination and potential hazards. Will these gloves break? Well they're not made of iron, nylon or even latex rubber, and therefore are not as elastic as latex gloves or nitrile gloves, and somewhat less resistant to sharp objects or strong tear force. For those applications we recommend (heavy duty) nitrile gloves or latex gloves. Will these vinyl gloves have holes in them? Well our gloves meet or exceed ASTM D5250 standard which includes a water leak rating of AQL 2.5 or less. And in reality we oftentimes execute a more rigid standard of AQL 1.5. What does that mean? In human language, roughly speaking less than 1.5% (or 2.5% per ASTM D5250 standard) of the batch of gloves being tested may have pinholes in them. This is usually already the most rigid standard among medical exam gloves.

I am having a hard time to find out what size i need. medical gloves i wear are m,but if i measure the way the instructions show here, i'd need xl-xxl

I have small hands and would normally order a small. I ordered a medium because I do have long finger nails. The only place I have extra room is in the wrists. I find that overall they run a bit small. The only suggestion I have is whatever size you would order in regular gloves, go one size bigger in medical gloves. I will say they do go on easier than other of they type that I have purchased. Good luck.

How do I know what size I need? I've never ordered gloves before.

I am a female (5’ 3”, 140 lbs.) and I order the large size gloves as I find the medium size gloves are a bit too tight when trying to put them on.
