Real deal, big and hot sparks.
Not much to say other than "These work!" ... They are big, easy to handle, lights tinder 1st time (every time so far). If you want something to depend on, bet your survival on, make tones of fires with, these are the ones. Put some 550 cord through the hole, some 1" gorilla tape around the end and you're set! (I'm going to use orange 550 cord next time, easier to find in the leaves)

Big rod, Big sparks, Small price.
Best price per rod; got the pack to give a rod to someone and have one for myself. Quality of sparks is good, doesn't require gouging the rod to get enough broadcast of sparks. Bit of overkill since it is about as large a rod as I've ever considered carrying but short of losing it, breaking it, or trading it, this will last a long time. Using a carbide or HSS steel scraper for the sparks instead of a hacksaw blade or my knife edge. Don't know if its worth drilling a hole-thru in it and otherwise I haven't settled on a carry yet.

4Directions Bushcraft for quality gear
The ferro rods from 4Directions Bushcraft are hefty! I've used others before but these throw spark like a torch. Tons of spark, very hot and easily light the tinder every time. For this price and this quality you can't go wrong!!!
