This item is beautiful! High quality and just exactly what I wanted. I plan to use it for holding incense charcoal and other hot items. It will stand up well to both, heat and water (washing afterwards). I am excited to use it.

It is a good quality and not made of cheap tin.

I got this product because why not!? I mean, look at it. As a metalhead who is now into homemade cocktails, it was almost impossible not to go with this sadly, I almost use it exclusively for bragging about it. Not the most confortable tool on my home set and usually I go with my ice scoop instead. Good for the show but that is it.

These are strong and substantial. They do NOT feel flimsy. They easily manage picking up large ice cubes and do not bend or deflect as you are gripping the big’uns. Very nice weight and strength, finish is nice, not super. Claws could be sharper but shape and contours are right for the job. If you have other uses for them, for picking up more delicate objects (like hors d'oeuvres or desserts - for example) these might not be the best device for that job, but they are great for picking up ice and big ice cubes.

These tongs may never be used in my home, however, I tried them and they meet all the expectations of the viewer's on line. I am a bird lover, bald eagle lover, animal lover, you get where I'm coming from. I noticed that so many of the reviews were about NOT RECEIVING, TOO LONG TO ARRIVE, etc.! To those folks, go to the OTHER SELLER who offers these tongs. Check for Prime (which these are), and estimated arrival date. I ordered mine the week of August 3 and received them before the end of the week. These are just like the ones that I have seen on KFC commercials. You will not be disappointed. These are amazing. Really fun stuff. The other other company is obviously coming via China Post, hence the lengthy wait time for them to arrive. These are perfect, even for someone who doesn't cook. My neighbor tried using them, she ordered them, she's a cook! So that being said, these are the best.

These tongs are realistic eagle claws cut down to Bantam rooster size and make a big hit as a novelty item every time I use them. In practice, they’re stiff and difficult to use on anything other than cubes of ice or sugar. Hard to use on small chocolate, candy corn, spring rolls or apple slices. They’re sturdy and great looking. High marks for style, less so for function.

My husband thought I’d lost my mind when I bought this but he loves it now. We have a separate ice maker in our freezer that makes spheres and these tongs pick them up out of the tray so easy. We leave the tongs in the freezer all the time so they are there when needed and we don’t have to worry about putting our hands in the ice box (yuck). I wondered how cold they would be when we left them in the freezer but surprisingly they aren’t all the cold when you pick them up. The claw shape ends pick up the ice spheres perfectly! Although this was something I never thought I needed - I did! I have no negative comments and would highly recommend.

These are so cute & well made! Nice heavy metal not flimsy at all! I put them out with shredded chicken, so funny!
