Very happy with the product and thrilled with the value!
They are indeed sturdy and waterproof, as determined by some fun testing I did: since they're so inexpensive (I paid $9.99 for 100), why not? First, I absolutely could not rip one with my hands. Then I cut one a little bit with a scissors (which the bag resisted); and then I could rip the bag a little more--which the bag resisted. Second, I put water inside and let it sit: no water escaped. Third, I stuck a weight inside another bag and immersed it in water: no water got inside. The only way water would penetrate is if it wiggled in through the seal, so, if I want to make something super-waterproof before mailing, I'll just give the seal an extra wrap with plastic sealing tape. Finally, writing. Photo: on the left is the initial results. On the right is what remained after I waited 2 minutes and smudged with a dry paper towel. Flair pen really didn't work (just little dots), and disappeared when smudged. Sharpie worked , although it almost disappeared when rubbed. Ballpoint (Uniball) pen worked and didn't smudge. However, my Avery labels were quite easy to peel off the bags. I never write addresses directly on any packaging or on a label without a moisture barrier because it's so easy to smear if the package gets wet, so I always use plastic sealing tape over my addressing for that purpose anyway. Plastic sealing tape stuck to the bags completely, unpeelable as long as no corner was sticking up. So I'm thrilled with the "bulletproof" quality of these bags. I especially appreciate that they're super-thin and take up absolutely minimal drawer space.

Great for eBay Sellers!
My wife and I end up selling a lot of stuff on ebay. Clothes we dont wear anymore, electronics, stuff we buy to resell...that said, maintaining packaging materials for all of that stuff becomes a nightmare. At one point our entire garage was filled with boxes we "planned" on reusing once we sold something of a similar size. It got to be too much. Noticing that some of the items we would BUY on ebay were coming in nice/tough bags like this, I invested in some myself.1. Most of the stuff we sell actually fits in these bags, so using a box is a more rare occurrence now.2. The bags are pretty tough. Try to tear through one, they arent like normal cheap plastic bags3. They are WAY lighter than a box for the equivalent storage size...which is money back in my pocket as I dont have to pay as much for shipping. All in all, great bags. Saved us on clutter, and we havent had one break on us yet.

Great Quality, Especially for Lightweight Items
Great bags for the price. They feel very thin and flimsy at first, so before I sent some products in these, I closed one and tested it out. Once the glue had a chance to settle, it was very hard to pull apart. The poly material was also very hard to rip without a pointy or sharpened object.Since I send these out with lightweight fabrics in them, I think they work perfect for what I want and will do a good job protecting what I send. If you are sending documents, I would suggest a folder so that they don't get bent easily. For heavier items, I might try to find a thicker poly bag. These are great for the price being sold and are exactly what I expected.

Durable and easy packaging
I purchased these to package clothing for mailing and they're perfect for that purpose. They're large enough and heavy enough to mail a pair of jeans without any need for additional packaging, but lightweight enough not to add much weight to the parcel. The adhesive works well, I've mailed about 75 items using these mailers now and have had no issues with them. I'm about to purchase my second package, they make mailing so easy!

I don't recommend just throwing it in the bag and not wrapping ...
These bags look professional for my clothing items. I have even used these bags for shipping books. They may look thin, but they are durable bags. I don't any issues with them. I ship pants, shirts, dresses, jewelry items and other clothing items. As long as you wrap the item securely inside the bag, you won't have an issue. I don't recommend just throwing it in the bag and not wrapping your clothes in tissue or something like that for a nicer presentation. Waterproof and sturdy shipping. Also, they were shipped pretty fast. I believe I had a tracking number the next day. I will order from these folks again and in different sizes.

They seem to be very sturdy bags and well worth the money
This review is for the AmaMax 10X13 White Poly Mailers. I read a lot of negative reviews of various brands, many of them concerning issues with the bags being so thin that they tore straight out of the package or before arriving at their destination. I've been using these for about a month now to mail books in, and I've had no complaints. I've had no issues with tearing when packing the books either, and I've packaged hardcovers as well. They seem to be very sturdy bags and well worth the money. My advice for using any type of poly bag like this is to wrap the item as tightly as possible in the poly bag so it doesn't slight around before sealing the bag shut, and consider using a little packaging tape on it too, just in case. Much cheaper than bubble mailers for non-fragile items and the AmaMax brand appears to be a good brand.

Durable and spacious with a strong adhesive strip.
If you ship t-shirts, these are thin and affordable, but durable. I ship t-shirts I sell on Etsy and these envelope sleeves can fit several large tees. I am sure you could get a rolled up sweatshirt in there if you needed to. The self-adhesive is strong. It is not popping open in transit. The one thing that makes this a 4-star instead of a 5-star is that the plastic strip that covers the adhesive, when peeled off, produces static electricity that on more than one occasion has caused the adhesive to stick to the envelope before I was ready to (or lined it up) to seal it. The adhesive is strong, so once it sticks, it is stuck. After that happened a couple times I learned to always make sure to place it on a flat surface and peel off the adhesive slowly to avoid a mishap. Regardless for the price these are well worth it for the volume it holds and durability to hold up during shipping. I will buy again.

Works well, great for the price
I use these for mailing things I've sold on Poshmark/Mercari and for the price, they're unbeatable. Only remark I have is that they are thin--they don't scream high quality if you're looking to impress. Don't get we wrong, they're definitely durable and the adhesion is amazing and the price is great. I will be ordering again

Good :)
Only giving 4 stars! Some bags (approx 30) arrived ripped with the self sealing plastic coating off and they are useless to me. The rest were fine. Sturdy bags. Just a heads up outside the US you will be charged customs and duty on this product.
