I use these knives daily. They are comfortable to grip and sharp. I also think they are attractive.

Bought for my mom, she loves them.

I needed a couple of decent knives so I grabbed these. I'm not a knife snob and don't own any what I would consider to be really nice kitchen knives. I'm happy with these knives. I'm not sharpening them all time and they seem to cut just fine. I hand wash them. My reason for not giving these 5 stars is that they are advertised as German steel. I stay away from Chinese steel. My opinion is that it doesn't hold an edge. On the blade it says "German Stainless Steel. Made in China". Not sure what that means. Do they send German steel to China and they cut out the blades? Do they send blades to China and they get assembled there? They are performing well so it hasn't been an issue. I would recommend.

Great starter (or even forever) knife. Sharp. Quality steel. Forged. Look great! GREAT VALUE from a well known and trusted maker of knives.Don’t waste money on a matching block set of knives. You only need 3 or 4 knives for most, if not all of your needs…a chef’s knife or Santoku in your preferred size, a paring knife and a serrated bread knife (6” or 10”), and possibly a boning knife. That’s it.I think this line of knives from Zwilling’s Henkel’s is a great value for those just starting out. I often give these knives as a gift to friends that I felt needed a couple of better knives in their culinary arsenal. When they experience the joy of using sharp knives, it may open up their appreciation for good tools and learn to take care of them.Who knows, they (or more likely, their spouse) may even end up hating me when they get hooked on collecting pricier knives. Ooops!

Maybe my old paring knives were dull, but these are SOOOOO sharp. I am super impressed with these knives. The smaller one almost seems too small but it is mighty!!!

These were very inexpensive, so I didn't expect much. I have very expensive knives from the same manufacturer that I have owned for 40 years and still treasure. I bought these because I liked the chunkier handles and the color. But, they sharpen easily, hold the sharp, and are nicely weighted for both balance and grip.

I love these knives and highly recommend them. I've had them a year and they are still sharp and work great.
