My go to paint pen
These are my favorite paint pen. They write/draw on most surfaces and last for years when taken care of properly. The color selection is basic, but the paint is saturated well and the color is vibrant. They used to make a fine tip, but it seems they no longer do. These are good for many craft projects and a wide age range.

Probably the most perfect paint pen out there
I'd have to say, if I'm being completely honest, that I love everything about these paint pens. They came exactly as described. Actually I'd say the description didn't quite capture how wonderful these pens are. Now I'm not looking to overstate it, but these pens tips weren't just fine. They were truly the finest of any pen tip I've ever encountered. When the description says that you can write on just about anything, again, I think they are being humble. I'm pretty sure these pens can write on literally anything. We have a problem here at work of people eating other people's food so I wrote my name on a banana that I brought in and left in the kitchen. I didn't write on the peel, I wrote on the inside of the banana and it kept beautifully. It was almost elegant. My only complaint, if I were to have one, is that the colors are almost too vibrant. I've noticed that when I look at them too long and then look away the colors are burned into my eyes for some time after. I can't deduct a star for this, however. You cannot punish someone for doing a job too well.

Good value. Good pens. Not perfect, but very good.
I've been using the pens for over a week and I'm very pleased!Pros: the colors! The colors look great. I've been doing tiny canvases. Some are silouettes on black. These paints show nicely. Sometimes it takes more than one coat over black, but that's to be expected. The selection. So many colors! Two shades of green made my Christmas trees wonderful.Ease of use: once you get the paint through to the tip, they're really easy to use. It takes longer than you think. Be patient. That's a paint pen thing- not unique to these. It's actually a good sign. If they filled the tip quickly that would be a clue that the paint was too thin.Longevity: many paint pens don't seal well. That means that once you open them they start to dry out quickly. Mine are still working perfectly. That means the caps seal nicely.Cons: two of my pens didn't work out of the pack. And the white is a greyish white. Perfectly suitable for sketching in an under painting, but not bright for use as white on its own.

Decent for the price -If you can get them to work, Not a long shelve life
My review is in past-tense because, well, the paint just stopped coming out after about three months (one month of not using at all). I'd recommend using these on a regular bases or at least "test" every week or less so they don't dry up or anything.Generally very nice paint pens, especially for the low price (about 10$). Vibrant (mostly) and easy to use. But had some pretty -major- frustrating issues. They were difficult to get going at first -all the pressing up and holding down of the tips seemed to take forever.A few colors I could not get to work at all. The three metallics aren't very metallic, more like a dull gray (silver), brown and tan (gold and copper). Of course that depends on what materials you are using (I used on rocks and white paper-stock).After moving, I stored in a box with my other art supplies -no extreme temperatures or anything- but when I went to use them about a month later-NOTHING. Probably they dried up.Once I was able to get the paint going, these pens worked very well. BUT some may not work at all and they don't seem to live very long. Working ones are good quality, but another get what you pay for.

Great Value
Works as good, if not better, than expected. Highly recommend.

Not Fine Tipped & Paint Doesn't Flow Properly
I'm not sure how these paint pens have so many great reviews, because they have given me nothing but problems. I do rock painting, and since my preferred brand is so expensive, I have tried several different brands of paint pens to try to find something that's at least decently usable. I've been using two cheaper brands along with my preferred brand, but some are getting gunky and used up. So I decided to see what else was out there. I found these and they had a ton of stellar reviews, so I went for it and bought some. But I have not had a good experience with using them. First of all, they are supposed to be "Fine" and they are far from fine. I did notice that the gold one has a pointy tip at the very top of the tip, but it's so short and the rest of the tip is so thick, that you can't use it for precise work. (See my last pic.) And the others are just rounded and quite thick. Maybe they had a point before I primed them, but given the fact that you have to press down on the tip to prime them, the point shouldn't be made to get squished down that easily. Now I could've lived with that and used them for coloring in larger surfaces, BUT the ink just doesn't flow well. And yes, I primed them to release any air and to get the ink flowing all the way into the tip. (Like I said, I've used several different brands of paint pens, so I know what I'm doing.) And I keep trying to use them to see if they'll start working better with more use, but I just end up frustrated. The ink just doesn't flow well. I get scratchy lines, and if I push the tip in to prime and get more ink, of course I get puddling. So I'm not sure if the company has changed the markers over the years, or if I got different markers than those in the great reviews, or if it's a fluke. I've included several pics so you can see the tips. The first pic shows the Beric marker on the left, a cheaper brand in the middle, and the more expensive one on the far right. You can see the different in the thickness of the tips, and you can also notice if you look closely that the tip of the Beric has a splotchy pattern of paint saturation compared to the other two. In the second pic that shows the brown one, I had to pump it to prime it well, then roll the tip on a piece of paper, before drawing the lines on the rock. I wanted to show the width of the lines they make.If I had been excited to get them and removed the plastic from about half of them right away, I'd be returning them.
