Because the instructions were wrong!! We had to download two more differing sets of instructions to assemble it securely and thankfully my husband being an engineer could fathom them! You shouldn’t have to have a degree in engineering to assemble a cot! That said, when all together and secured it is beautiful!

Cot is brilliant. Super easy to put together. Well made. Just a head up for future buyers, it is really quite low down. Our daughter is on the lowest level of the cot bed and it is really low - this isn’t an issue at all, just a heads up.

Really happy with this purchase. It is made of good quality wood which has a nice smell. It was pretty easy to assemble and it's a robust construction. We bought it for our 4 month old son but it's big and strong enough for him to sleep there for a few years.

Baby girl loves a big crib and this one is perfect! Looks great and fits in the room well! It was very simple to assemble just need an Allan key and 1 hour max!

Very nice and good size but the wood isnt very thick so it's easy to break

The bed is beautiful, and easy to assemble however it has a strong and horrible paint smell that has filled the whole of the room. Had to put the cot out in the corridor now. Highly recommend you avoid this.It's now been a week and the smell is still there.We had lots of wooden furniture prices for ourselves/our baby (admittedly mostly more expensive) however this is the first time we encountered this paint smell.Particularly worrying and unpleasant since it's meant to be made for a baby.
