J. Cat Beauty H2O Fresh Dewy Hydrating Face Primer

I wanted to try this to wear under their powder foundation, as it is supposed to go well with that. I also felt it would do well with more matte foundations, to add extra moisture. I think it does well for those purposes. I don't think this is much of a wear extending primer. I think there may be a bit of help with longevity, but very minimal at best. I think this is a definite pass if you are oily, but is good for normal to dry skin. Using it now in the summer, it is making me a bit too shiny. I think it will suit me better in the dryer winter months. I do think I would buy it again for use under certain foundations, powder ones in particular.

Formula is great and leaves face feeling dewy, application of makeup is also really good.

I use this solely for moisturizing and I love it. Super lightweight. I don’t feel like I’m putting lotion on my face which I really love. Absorbs very well and doesn’t make my face look shiny.
