These bulbs are very good quality LED MR16 bulbs. When viewed side by side with a 50W halogen bulb these are slightly brighter than the halogens they are replacing. The LED bulb's light seems slightly softer than the halogen which makes for a more pleasing appearance in the room. It is also worth noting that I installed 9 of these bulbs and found them completely consistent with their color and brightness. After being on for hours I find them completely cool to the touch so in addition to the energy savings in wattage I should also see a modest reduction in cooling costs. The pins are slightly longer than on the halogen but at least in my situation this was of no consequence. If you are wanting to replace 50W halogens for energy efficiency you need to look no further than these bulbs. I am very pleased with these bulbs and will eventually replace all 54 MR16 halogen light bulbs that I have in my house.Update: THESE ARE NOT SAFE! I have had these in use now for about 15 months. They are on an average of about 3 hours per day. I have had to replace about 70% of them but what is really alarming is the way several have burnt out. They "popped" and then a flash of light and then a sizzle sound! One of them smoked and I could see some fire up in the can and fortunately I was in the room at the time and could immediately turn off the switch! I no longer leave them on when unattended and I am in the process of replacing them all. Don't risk using these!

I bought 2 packs for my new apartment,One pack of MR11 Gu4 3W, And one pack of MR16 Gu5.3 6W.a. MR11 and MR16 bulb is both work well and adapt to the 12v transformer for former halogen.I was worry about it because i have bad experience to bought flicker bulb online before this deal.b. I replaced 25W MR11 Halogen with 3W LED MR11, The LED 3W looks brighter than halogen,The color still looks good with not color cast.Not like other brand of bulb that i bought before.c. The MR16 looks beautiful,It is heavy and i trust it is a real thing. I replaced 50W MR16 Halogen with 6W LED MR16, It is much brighter than 50W MR16, The color is also looks good.It is regret that it is not dimmable.

Exceptionally clean, bright light and they run cool and promise to last a long time. One flickered but that was a problem with a bad transformer.
