This is the second croco bike we've gotten for our daughters. They are a great alternative to the more expensive brands, and I love that they are lightweight! Our first croco was the original that we bought for our first daughter when she was nearly 2, and she loved it! Really put it through its paces, and it held up great until she had maxed out the height of the seat, and the aluminum frame began to bend where it connected to the seat. Here's the thing, the aluminum frame is super light, which was a big deal for us (easier to carry when our kids decide to walk, instead), but it does make it a little more fragile. But knowing how my daughter used the bike, and for how long, and she had absolutely outgrown it before this happened... It totally made sense, and we chucked it, knowing we would buy another for our next kiddo. And that's just what we did! Although, this time, we upgraded to the "sturdy" version, which is only a bit heavier thankfully. We love the foam wheels, and I can't wait to see our soon-to-be 2yo break this one in, as well. Just like her sister, she loves the bell. 💕 ALSO, after putting this bike together I noticed one of our wheels was very mishaped. I reached out to Croco on their Facebook page and they responded right away and have sent us a new wheel, I just need to put it on, but I'm very impressed with the customer service! Cannot recommend this company or these bikes enough!

This is perfect for my little grandson

This may be a little more expensive, but way better than an 8LB steel clunker bike, and my kid is learning to balance well, so do not plan to get training wheels when he gets a real bike with pedals. The seat is not hard and has lengthy quick adjustment range, so he can use it for years, if the tires don't wear out. I could have bought it at 2yo. Easy to put together. Aluminum is painted, so no need to touch aluminum. It's nice not to have air-filled tires- no flats.

We bought this bike a few years ago for my son and it’s still going strong. Now his younger brother rides around on it. Besides being a great bike, it’s also important to note that their customer service is amazing too! I accidentally ran over and bent the back tire of this bike and so I emailed croco customer service about it and they sent us a new tire within a week at no charge. Super impressed with them!
