The book is more geared to people looking to break into the landscaping business, unfortunately dose not have much information for the hobby landscaper.

The graphics and step by step instruction with detailed descriptions, and beautiful illustrations guiding you through every page. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Very informative!

This book goes through has three sections: Pre-design phase, Design phase and Post-Phase. It include some landscaping plans, photos of landscaped yards, diagrams and great information. It is one that needs to be in every landscaping library.

Excellent book not only for the high quality of its pictures and information but also it has a very good binding. I totally recommend reading it.

I was looking for a book to help me design my backyard. This boo is for anyone interested in becoming a landscape designer and going to school for it.
