Cheaply made and will rust out on you in less than a year.
We have had this grill for 7 months now and definitely not what I expected. Lots of rust starting already all over the entire grill. The cabinet door hinges and drawer slides are already rusted so bad they need to be replaced. The burner covers are severely rusted but expected that as those are a consumable item. However, the pegs on the rear of the grill that hold these covers in place are already rusted through and falling out. 3 out of 4 of the LED lights in the burner knobs no longer work. All this and our grill sits under a covered area. I’d hate to see how quickly it would degrade out in the open. All of the screws holding it together are mild steel and not stainless so they are already rusted pretty bad as well. This grill retails for over $600 and even though we waited until it was on sale to buy it and only paid a little over $400...we still got ripped off. It’s a pretty grill in the beginning and the window is nice in the lid but these are made with significantly cheap materials. Save your money and put it towards better quality one as this is likely going to need replacement within or shortly after only one year of use.

Great except for the LED knobs..
I've been Weber guy for years but the price for US made Weber is ridiculous. Researched for weeks and decided on the 3 Embers because of ratings, made in the USA, and was stainless steel, and the price. The scheduled delivery was flawless and a big plus. Grill arrived with zero damage. The hardest part of assembly was unpacking and getting it off the shipping pallet. Grill lit easily and took 15-20 minutes to reach max temp for burn off. During the first cook, one of the led lights quit working, sent email to customer service and received a new circuit board in 3 days. I now have 2 more leds that quit working but have not contacted customer service. I think 3 Embers got a bad batch of circuit boards based on 3 failures. Love the way this grill cooks, gets super hot equally across all burners, and the window is something I never thought I'd need but it is nice to have. I'd buy it again, just wish the leds would all work. After 1 year update: Three of the led knob lights have failed. 3 Embers was quick to send replacements. However, it is impossible to change out without disassembling the grill. The circuit board on the knobs is designed to fail due to the small metal tab that makes contact to illuminate when the knobs are turned. The tab breaks or twists so there is no contact. The biggest complaint I have is the side burner is useless. The few times I have attempted to use it, the slightest breeze will blow out the flame. Also, it is so underpowered it will not heat to the frying point until at least 45 minutes. I chose the 3 Embers because it is made in the USA and the build quality is great but the end product is only as good as the components. I now regret not spending more to get another Weber after having 2 that lasted 25 years total.

Great Grill For This Price Range
Excellent grill. I paid less than $600 or this US made stainless steel grill. I have had 3 grills in the last 3 yrs. BBQs Galore, Weber and another $800 grill. All rusted out very quickly and I had to have parts replaced often. My grill repair guy made a killing on them.I bought this one after much research. My professional grill repair guy assembled it-yes it comes mostly unassembled. Its worth it to pay the extra to have it assembled so that everything lines up perfect. My grill guy was very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the grill. He assumed it was a $1200 grill. He looked for the cheap parts. There had to be a a catch to it. Why was it so inexpensive? He checked everything and it was the perfect grill in his opinion.I have had it for only a few months and have used it every weekend in very very cold weather. Works perfect and heats up pretty quickly considering its 20 degrees or colder outside. Wind does not impact flame. The glass is not effected by external temps. Thought for sure it would break or fog up once it heated up.Only thing I had to do was purchase a new hose which cost me $60 bucks since my propane is not tanked. Would have been nice to have hooks on outside of grill or in cabinet area for long brushes. I have added my own hook set up.So far the grill works perfect, No complaints. I will update as soon as I see the first sign of rust on parts.

Damages..... What Damages!
Initially I was concerned about ordering this Grill due to the many reviews that told of damage in shipping. The company, however, was known for taking care of its purchasers promptly in the reviews. My grill arrived precisely on the date promised. The carton and shipping pallet was in perfect condition, so much so I decided not to open the carton before signing the shipping receipt. Opening the carton was fairly simple and to my surprise everything inside was in perfect condition. There was no damage what so ever. I consider myself a fairly mechanical person and was able to remove the grill from its carton, dispose of the cartoning and assemble the few parts needing assemble with a screwdriver alone in approximately 1 hour. The assembly instructions could have been a little clearer when it came to installing the side burner. But by putting a moving blanket on the floor, locking two wheels and tipping the grill on its side... side burner up. made it easier to see and figure it out without the directions. There were pictures to follow but they were of little use and no written assembly instructions are available. I left the side table off due to personal space availability. That was key to putting the grill on its side (Tip). I was able to do the assemble and test the grill for functionality without help from a second person.. Long story short..... I am a happy camper. Now when the snow melts I am ready to grill.
