The picture shows 8 containers but the description says 8 piece but only 4 containers. Are they counting the lids as the other 4 pieces?

What are the real dimensions? the description says size: dimensions (l x w x h): 16.75" x 11.9" x 78.25" x 4.88". something not quite right there!

The correct measurements are 15.75 (Long) X 11.375 (Wide) X 6.625 (High). This measurement is taken without the lid on the outside of the bin. It does taper to a narrower bottom slightly to the opening.

This lists 2-qt, 6-qt, and 12-qt, but only dimensions for the smallest of these; what are dimensions for the larger boxes?

Not sure, I use them for shoes.
