Way to soft no support missed return date or i would of. Very disappointed and hurt all over.Cheap foam doesn't hold shape like sleeping in a cocoon engulfs big people..

This mattress is everything I was looking for, Soft and comfy with the right amount of firm. This was my first mattress in a box and I was very impressed with how easy it was to set up! Highly recommend for someone looking for that “not too soft, not too hard” mattress.

Much to my delight, this mattress is firmer than expected. Being highly compressed, rolled up, and shipped in a box, I didn't expect this mattress to be as firm and supportive as it actually is.After reading the directions and properly releasing it from the crushing plastic confines, it immediately sprung to life. As directed I let it rest, decompress, and off-gas for 48 hours. Speaking of off-gassing, there wasn't much chemical scent and I definitely didn't notice anything after 48 hours. Once fully plumped I measured the height, it was only 10 ish inches at the edges. I didn't have a reasonable way to measure height in the center, so I have to surmise that it didn't rise to the full 12 inch height as advertised. For this reason alone, I took a star from the rating.It seems to be made pretty well. It is not a luxury mattress, however it's not at a luxury price point either. It has a nice Euro looking pillow top with a soft quilted surface. It is very supportive with the springs barely seeming to compress under my weight and the top foam layers providing adequate softness.My first night sleeping on it was good and I didn't have any aches in the morning, but I have two observations. First, I may need taller and/or firmer pillows as I don't sink into this mattress like my old one; my pillows feel really flat now. Second, since I don't sink into this mattress, rolling out of bed is surprisingly accelerated; wake up and be ready.It says it's a hybrid mattress, but it seems more traditional to me, which isn't a bad quality to have. Time will tell whether or not it will hold up to years of use, but it's great right now. I have it sitting atop a fully supported, full plywood base with hopes it keeps the springs in proper alignment. If you're looking for a firm mattress, this is surprisingly good.

I ordered this to put in our guest room because it seemed to be a nice quality, comfortable mattress. And it is! I tested it out before making our guests sleep on it and which I definitely prefer my king size Nectar mattress, this is certainly no slouch! It expanded quickly out of the box - was "fully puffed" in about 24 hours. It is soft, comfortable, and you will get a good sleep on it.Note that this is a firm foam hybrid mattress. So if you are expecting the squish feels like a cloud feeling you get from a strictly memory foam, you might need to temper those expectations.A few other notes:1. The box is heavy. Don't try to move it yourself if you don't have to.2. Follow the instructions - it needs to be "released" from the plastic in 2 steps. If you follow this, you will get more efficient results (and less back pain while putting everything together LOL)3. Let the auto inflation do it's thing before laying down on it for sleeping.These simple steps will make the whole process SO much easier. If you have never put together one of these beds in a box, your first impulse might be to tear through and do everything fast...I learned that lesson the first time I opened one of these - patience really IS a virtue ;)As far as the mattress once everything is set up - it is, again, very nice, very comfortable, and it's even nice LOOKING too. Put a mattress cover on it (because everyone should really have one of these) to keep it nice and you will have a GREAT mattress for years to come.This mattress is a bit cheaper in price than some others you will see of that type, but it is only "cheap" in price - NOT in quality - so don't let that give you pause. It is a FANTASTIC mattress and I feel very good about having our family and friends stay over on this anytime. I highly recommend this mattress!

I must say I am pleasantly surprised with how good this mattress is. Yes its quite heavy, but when you fully air it out and lay on it, its nice and firm. Not too firm that your body hurts like some mattresses, but just enough that your body is held in place but the mattress still gives so make it comfortable. The materials feel good, it had a nice spring to it, so I have to keep cautioning my son to stop hopping on it lol.I am happy I got it, and have loved it ever since

The mattress is described as being very firm, but in reality, it's soft enough to sit on and the springs aren't that firm. I'm very disappointed with it; but after opening the package, I don't know how to return it

I ordered this 12 inch Hybrid Pocket Spring Mattress in a box for my 10 year old step-son, who we just upgraded his room to a full size bed from a twin.This mattress came compact in a smallish box for a mattress. Upon opening the box, the mattress was vacuum sealed; as soon as we cut the plastic and allowed air in the mattress started springing to life! It is easy to move around, not too heavy. It plumped right up to it's full shape rather quickly, even though the instructions state to give it 48-72 hours. I really like that this mattress has coils in it, especially for a mattress in a box - they're hard to come by. If I was able to order this in a King size, I totally would have gotten it to replace my 5 year old king size hybrid bed - this bed is SO comfortable. I highly recommend it. While the current price of $402.47 is a little steep, I would say that it is completely worth it. You get what you pay for, and this is an exceptional bed for the price.
