Received the product and first thing I did was scratch the box where it displays serial key and entered the serial key in sjcam official website to check it's genuine as there are millions of copies of sjcam brand and all these fakes looks exactly identical. Thankfully the website verified my product as genuine one . Now coming to the camera , first thing u need is a memory card (better be class 10 for faster saving and reading as the file sizes are going to be in gbs) as without memory card the camera does not work as it does not have any internal memory. Then u need to watch some tutorials to work around the buttons in this camera as it's not that simple to operate. This camera does not come with a external port for mic so u will get lot of wind noise if u r mounting it on helmet and go above 40kmph. Gopro has this feature but gopro is too expensive. If u r beginner like me and this is ur first camera to start your youtube channel and u have no idea about helmet mounting then this camera comes with adhesive mount(it's like 2side tape for sticking but with really powerful glue) and once you have stuck the mount with adhesive tape onto your helmet then it's almost like it's permanent position as its sticks really hard and unpluckable. So no worries if u r riding in triple digit speeds. Ur camera will still stay there Gyro in this camera works really well for vertical image stabilization but side ways it's not really great. Quality in 4k is also good but I only shoot in 1080p 60fps as it's output is really well. Update: I have made a video on "Helmet Chin Mount - Lone Wolf" in youtube for those who have doubts on how to mount the action camera on the chin side of the helmet. I got the action camera for Rs.8990 during Lightening deal and that's perhaps the most cheapest price you can get for this camera. I shoot videos in 1080p 60fps and quality of video and image stabilization is just mind blowing. Colour saturation , video clarity, sharpness and focus is awesome for the price we are paying. only disadvantage is this camera does not support External mic and hence if you are speeding or using waterproof mount then sound clarity will be less. but other than that its a bang for the buck by all means I use samsung class 10 64gb memory card which also i bought with lightening deal for 1200rs and works like charm The video will be split into 450mb files if you are shooting at 1080p 60fps at medium clarity and at 650mb files if you are shooting at 1080p 60fps and high clarity. please follow my youtube channel " Lone Wolf Rider " to see sample videos and helmet mount setup

This is a great action camera for the beginners as well as for pros i believe. Used this for the third time for youtube vlogging. Had no problem except that the battery drains in an hour. So you gotta have extra battery or power bank to re-charge it. Picture quality however isn’t really nice. Its like taking photos from 2mp camera. It worked fine underwater too. Video records well. At night the low light mode don’t really help. If you’re filming in the streets then the street lights gotta be good to record. Audio quality is okay but when you put in the waterproof case the audio is however don’t record nicely. You gotta speak loud whenever you put your action camera inside the waterproof case. I rate 4 outta 5. You must buy it if you are looking for alternative Gopro.

Gr8 product, writing this review after a month. Worth spending, the features were very good, delighted...:) Simple to use, the front switch (main) is for 1. Power on 2. Video mode 3. Still photo mode and 4. For menu. The side buttons are to select the reqd options in the menu. On the performance... Easy to use, good Quality Output, In daytime outdoor Fantastic clarity with 4K good detailings. Used in both car and cycle the videos are awesome... like the videos seen in edited YouTube videos. I had purchased an additional battery, knowing the size which was handy with external charger. In Continuous video, 1 battery lasted for more than 60mins... The videos played after cycling in Tirahalli forest in Bangalore was mind boggling.. Nice product for the Price worth spending. Even in swimming pool underwater was nice (in daytime, when the lights are low more grains, which is a common phenomenon in a camera.
