I was a little worried about this purchase since most everything is made cheaper today than 20-30 years ago. I must say this is a good purchase. Very inexpensive, but excellent quality. Most importantly the display and buttons/keys are top notch. I like the angle of the display, really just right. The calculator worked immediately from the solar cell but was dim. I put in the single AA battery and it was super clear and dark. I really like the auto shut off at about 10 minutes. The 'MU' button/feature is excellent to calculate the % increase and decrease of two values, up or down. The back arrow key is nice to correct a wrong key in value too. Good instructions too that explain how to take advantage of the round up and down and # of digits using the sliding switches. Great product!
