My kids were amazed by this water coloring mat. This is the first time they have played with a toy like this where you can turn simple water in to a masterpiece. It is so easy to set up simply lay out the big mat, fill the pens with water and let the kids loose on this. The mat is over three feet long and almost three feet high and seems to be indestructible. Just to note that the pens unscrew clockwise not the direction most of us are familiar with. Also, with the pens you need to give them a light squeeze to release the water. Very little comes out so there is no watery mess to clean up and you can lay this down anywhere with no worries of damaging the flooring. The color is inside the mat. Once the water hits the mat the colors show up and once the water dries, they disappear. It's amazing. There are some stencils and stamps that work well but so far, the kids have not used them very much. They just draw anything they feel like. I personally like the border surround. It has the alphabet with pictures to help them remember the letters and also pictorial numbers so they can actually count the objects to learn the numbers 1-10. It is a fantastic learning toy and has kept my kids and their friends busy for hours. I honestly did not expect them to spend much time playing with this, but I could not have been more wrong. Fair price and a great toy. Very happy with this purchase.

My 2.5 year old niece absolutely loves this mat. The markers and paint brush are very easy to fill (although the threads are in the opposite direction than you’re probably used to). Great for mess free play, especially if you’re going to someone’s house who is not used to having a kid’s mess around, or if you have a toddler who recently discovered that they can color on walls with crayons. Dries fast, works well. Great product.

The white coating on our doodle pad started cracking after a couple of times folding it up. The accessories are a bit small for our two year old, but she tries to put everything in her mouth so we stored them away for now. I wish the boarder was either smaller or had the option to color on like the center. Besides that, my toddler loves using it and it’s nice to have a mess free coloring/painting option. The drawing book that came with it is also fun for parent interaction.

Bought this for my nephew for Christmas and am quite disappointed. Water pens would not work and the caps would not come off when trying to use. The pad is cheap and won't last long anyways. Do not buy!

My daughter loves this so much! Plays with it daily for like 20 minutes. Love this item, recommend it for busy moms or dads trying to get things done with a toddler!
