## Description

The PROSTAFF 3S binoculars are extremely compact and lightweight and ideal for outdoor activities. The slim body and comfortable handle ensure easy handling. The binoculars are waterproof and anti-fog and are therefore suitable for all weather conditions. The multi-layer coated lenses and the highly reflective mirror coating of the prism ensure a sharp, bright image.

Review: Quality feel and clear image. - I have just received these and on first impressions they seem very good. They have a solid feel and are small enough to easily carry around in my back pack when hillwalking. I have only had cheap and low quality binoculars before these seem to be well worth the extra cost for my occasional use. The imaging is bright and clear. Though others have commented on a lack of separate carrying strap for the case I don't see this an issue. The case is designed so that the strap on the binoculars sits outside and so you can carry the binoculars around your neck either inside the case or without the case. There is also a feature to keep the eye piece covers attached to the strap and you can, if you wish, attach the objective lens to the cover too.

**Q: What is there close focusing distance?**
A: 10 feet

**Q: Are these fog/waterproof?**
A: They are waterproof and fogproof.

**Q: What does fog proof mean?**
A: Fogproof binoculars are sealed and purged internally to prevent moisture from entering. Fogging may render a binocular useless. To prevent this, fog-proof binoculars are purged of air and filled with dry nitrogen or argon that does not condense on internal surfaces during rapid temperature changes or extremes.

**Q: I am near sighted and wear glasses. Does this have a focus relief to adjust so I do not have to wear my glasses when using them?**
A: The right side lens has a diopter adjustment if that is what you are referring to as "focus relief". The eye relief is quite good on these as well. Unless you are near legal blind level nearsighted, you shouldn't have any problems.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't believe how good they are for the money!

Sent for 4 pairs to compare.... All Nikon..Aculon 8x42, Aculon 8-18x42 zoom, Aculon 10-22x50 zoom & Prostaff 3S 8x42. I couldn't get on with the 2 zoom models as my right zoom eye has a slight cataract which influenced the vision and blurred the image. For the price £56 (damaged box but new) the A211 8x42 was excellent, a quality, solid bit of kit with superb light intake and very sharp image...much clearer than the zooms. The Prostaff had the edge with great image, very good light intake, easier to handle with good sensitive focus adjustment ,water & fog proof...so worth an extra £50. I'm not a bino expert but these are a great bargain compared with much dearer 8x 42 competition.
