Firehouse Technology ARC White Strobe

Bought this for a drone that is flown at night to meet the FAA requirements and for safety reasons. Product is light weight and easy to use, comes with charging cable that you plug into any USB port. Easy to charge up on the go and battery lasts through several flights. Price was reasonable for the quality of the strobe. Very bright and visible for farther than the legal requirement.The only thing that would improve the product is to include a small piece of Velcro to make it easy to attach and remove.I would certainly recommend to others for this use. As a commercial drone pilot it is always good to see a good product that enhances the safety of the industry.

Initially I wasn't sure a device this tiny could really be visible from 3 miles, but having turned it on, I no longer have any doubts. Seriously, do not look at this thing when you turn it on. Size and weight are both low enough that mounting and flying with this should have near-zero effect on battery, etc. Battery life I didn't rate as I have yet to run it past 20 min, but supposedly it can run for several hours. My sole con is that the switch is exceptionally tiny, not super intuitive, and if the light is on, good luck finding it. Once you can find it by feel, however, all is good.

I flew tonight and this arrived. It's small so i added a piece of velcro to it and boom, i was up in the air... FAA legal in minutes. The light is bright. The only bad news is that there is no case to protect from rain, elements. You could just add a little packaging tape - up to you. It's lightweight easy to use.

This is a VERY bright strobe light. I use this light to meet the FAA's requirements for flying my drone in twilight conditions (14 CFR 107.29 (b)). The battery charges well and lasts longer than the 3 flight batteries for my DJI Mavic 2 Pro, roughly 1 hour 30 minutes. The only thing that detracts from this product is the lack of a commercial-grade housing for the light and battery. This product deserves something better than the Saran Wrap "moisture guard" to protect the lights, circuit board and battery. Perhaps a more durable housing could be an upgrade for the next version? Otherwise, this is a great product that functions better than advertised.

I really like The Firehouse Technology Arc ll white four strobe lights system, they are amazingly bright lights! You don’t want to look at these strobe lights when their turn on they will blind you and they are definitely approved by the FAA for up to 3 miles away, the price is okay maybe a little on the high side but you can buy others but they’re not as good as the Firehouse ones. I use the strobes on my Drone for safety and they work out great the battery is okay but they’re easy enough to charge! So if you are looking for a good Strobe light I would recommend the firehouse technology arc ll white four strobe light system!

Great lights for my Autel Evo drone. Extremely bright and very visible for a long distance. I purchased two holders for them on eBay which holds them securely to the drone. Very easy to charge and operate as well. My only complaint is price. They are very expensive. Other than that though I’m pleased with these strobes and would recommend them to anyone needing extra visibility for their drone.

This thing is bare bones, but works well.Don't look at it when you turn it on, or you'll see stars for a while.Fly a Mavic Air. Great drone, but very hard to see when it goes out a ways.I mounted this on the battery with velcro. I put a strip of velcro on each battery, to make it easy to change.I use an old yoga pad as my landing pad, so not worried about breaking it when I land.Can see my drone all the time, love it. Holds a charge for about 3 hours.

I got my firehouse white strobe light today and couldn't wait to try it out. It was a cloudy day and at 398' I lost sight of my drone, however the blinking strobe was in clear sight. At 400' in altitude, I flew it 3500' feet in distance and never lost sight. I had to return because it started sprinkling. Tonight I took it for another flight over a mountain near our house. The mountain 1200 feet high and I flew at an altitude of 1500 feet, 100 feet less than the legal 400 feet above the mountain and a distance of 2.5 miles until I lost sight. I stood there and tried rth with no response. I was in the mind set that I was going on a search and rescue mission in the morning until I heard my remote beeping at me. I looked up and saw that bright beautiful strobe flashing as my baby came over the mountain on it's way home. It had lost signal after going over the mountain and initiated a rth. This light surpassed my expectations.
