Cal-RoyalCR80026D Epic Design Commercial Keyed Entry Lever ADA Approved, Satin Chrome Backset

This lock is a cheap substitute for the top grade commercial lock sets. It is not quite up to the standard but is acceptable for more lightly used locations and where budgets are tight. Price is the leading reason for using Cal Royal locks.

In the description for this lock it says it's a CAL Royal lock. When I received it it didn't show anywhere in the packets it was a Cal Royal lock. After further investigation I found out that it is a sub company of Cal Royal. So I guess it is a Cal Royal product. I haven't installed it on a door yetbut it looks like it would be good for an office or a bathroom and a low level industrial building. It looks nice on the key function properly. It's a great three lock. It does have the pushbutton locking feature from the inside without the thumb turn. With this like you were unable to lock yourself out it will release once the door shut. That is something that I was looking for. I am a locksmith.

Very good commercial lock for bargain price! Good design and quality! If I need another lock - will be ready to buy the same.

I bought two of these for our offices. After a week the first one started feeling loose and sliding around. After I tightened it started coming apart the next day.

Handle is ok, sticks alot in up or down orientation.
